  2. Getting the sandals! ^_^

  3. Those models are disgustingly skinny. Being morbidly- underweight is just as bad as being morbidly-overweight.

  4. I'll go on topic and say the sandals are very nice and I love that the toenail polish is multi-colored.

  5. I love the polish.

  6. They're not morbidly underweight. The only 'weird one' is the one in the skirt, and she's a dark haired elder, and all elders have scrawny arms and legs and making them fat doesn't fix anything because they have no muscle tone by default.

Downloaded nail polish. I liked the other ones too, but these have more color options, and come in package format. x.x

  8. What is up with the elders having no muscle tone? I always thought it weird how scrawny they look.

  9. Wow, is that scary skinny. It actually makes me worry about the people who create these items, and I'm not being sarcastic at all. If you feel the need to make your sims "bobblehead" skinny like this to make them attractive, it's not exactly a sign that your self-image is healthy. And that's the point, by the way-- not "fat" or "skinny," but "healthy."

The reason people point out stuff like that is because, implicitly, you know someone with these proportions in real life would probably *not* be healthy, and it's unsettling. (Of course there are outliers. I know, your girlfriend can do that.)

    *shrug*

  10. I agree that the middle Sim's arms and legs are creepily stick thin but the other two look fine to me. C'est la vie! People don't get upset when someone makes a morbidly obese Sim and no one ever goes on a "this is a reflection of our society's culture" rant.

ANYWAY, I love love love the sandals. And the toenail polish. Another homerun by Lili!

  11. Yes, the Sims are thin, and I can understand why people dislike that. But I wonder how many of the people who complain about skinny Sims are bothered by skinny models in magazines (and actually take the time to complain about it in a public forum like this one)? That's not to say that these models *aren't* very, very thin, but still.

I love the nail polish. I also already have a different version but I like the multi-colored toes. The shoes look well made, but I think I'll pass on those because I've never really cared for the style.

  13. ^ Nothing at all. I bet most people don't, though. That's sad, because they should.

Way to get defensive, though. ;)

  21. The middle sim is an elder, the last one is a teen, both these body types have thinner than normal legs/arms, though teens can get muscle tone, and don't be fooled by the old lady's back hair. She's still an elder. The 1st sim is maxed thinness+least fitness for a YA, which should be what they look like for your game. Not as many people pay attention to or use Teen/Elder models, so they don't realize how weird those bodies look in comparison with the 'norm'.

  23. yeah, these models are skinny...
    ...but this a "sandal advertisement"
~if I create an outfit I use 'healthy models' for my images~
(although I receive that criticism then they are too fat...)
(already very exhausting this 'image- misery') :(
