It was, and everyone said it looked like the end of a penis.
There was a similar one that wasn't as nice, and absolutely zero people mentioned the word "penis" (srsly, wtf?). A few people said the top was too poofy and looked like a butt, but the reaction was pretty mixed and the top isn't as over-exaggerated here. Go troll another thread with completely invented hyperbole, thanks.
is not a hyperbole. A hyperbole would be saying "look ,it's a penis!" to say it looked like a penis is merely a comparison. He was stating that to him, it looked like a penis, literally, not figuratively. Hyperboles are the use of figurative language for embellishment. Here ends your lesson. moron. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperbole
I believe Claeric is confusing the ice cream cone hair with this one - that is the one where lots of people were saying it looked like a penis, not any hair similar to this.

Erm... yes, and saying "Everyone thinks x" or "Everyone does y" is, in fact, hyperbole. A simile ("a is like y") can't ever really be hyperbole, so I'm not sure why you're trying to argue "Hair is like dick" is or isn't hyperbole.
Also, no, saying "Look, it's a penis!" wouldn't be hyperbole. It would be just a weird declarative statement. Saying, "Every Peggy hair ever is insanely phallic in nature," would be, potentially. What are you getting at here, anyway?
I'm a copyeditor with an English language degree, try me.
These comments are making my ass twitch. Seriously, you have far too much time on your hands to have this pathetic argument with anons on a Sims blog. Oooh you have a English degree. Wow. Tricky major for certain. I am quite impressed by this and the oh so glamorous copy editor job. So you are moonlighting as grammar police on a blog for a PC game. You rock my world. Thanks for the hearty laugh. Pass on the Peggy's hair, again.
... What the heck? XD What is with Peggy's obsession with putting random crap on hairstyles? >__< Am I the only one noticing that this is all they do? xD I sure hope not!
I'm a copyeditor with an English language degree...
Really?
...try me.
Oh my. How can I resist?
You: A simile ("a is like y") can't ever really be hyperbole,
Hyperbole is determined by embellishments of opinion and conjecture verses fact. "George Bush is like Hitler" is hyperbole. "Barack Obama is like Satan" is also hyperbole. Why? Because both statements are statements of opinion and conjecture with no basis in proven truth or fact. It has nothing to do with which form you use it in including the simile.
You: Saying, "Every Peggy hair ever is insanely phallic in nature," would be, potentially.
Any copyeditor who could massacre the above sentence in the way in which you did, might want to brush up on that "English language degree".
The "every peggy hair ever...
Ever what? Care to use a suitable qualifier as the English language dictates? Perhaps, "made" or "created" or if unable to do so, in the best interest of strong sentence structure leave it out entirely?
You: "is insanely phallic
How does one determine "insanely phallic" exactly? As opposed to what? Sanely phallic? Phallic alone made the point quite clear and misuse of unnecessary descriptors is a sure sign of weak writing. English usage 101: When in doubt, leave it out.
You: "in nature," would be,potentially."
Any copyeditor worth his or her salt should know that one NEVER ends a sentence with an (optional) misplaced, dangling modifier,
Thank Gawd (colloquialism)you're not employed as my copyeditor.

I love this hair! I wonder, when will Peggy release that accessory? :D
Ech. Not my cup of tea. Probably download it anyways :P
Where's the dress from?

Didn't she already release this penis-head hair? I swear I saw it before.
I JUST LOVE IT!!!!!!!

It's a shirt from the store
Thanks Evergreen :D
It's pretty, just hate those black ass roots!
It looks too wide on children and toddlers, but I like it for adults.
And I'd like it de-darkrootified too, but I can use it anyways.
Oh, this is cute. I will get it. Thanks Peggy, this is a nice hair.
Hasn't this been released already? Or some variation of it? :/
I love it!!
i love it but I wonder if peggy will reaise the accsesory i think it's quite preetty
Very Nice!

cant wait for ANUBIS's retexture!!!
gorgeous hair
p.s. I wonder if Peggy looks the comments...
MIke
"It was, and everyone said it looked like the end of a penis."
Yea, I don't really like the top... it looks weird. The texture is also too greasy. But otherwise it's really not that bad.
That toddler looks like she wants to devour souls...
This'd be a good applicant for a retexture. I like the style, but peggy's greasy, crappy textures prevent me from using so many of them.

^LOL.
"EVERYONE said it looked like the end of a penis."
Clearly 'everyone = no one' in Claeric's dictionary. Lying is bad, very bad.
Claeric needs to find another porn dealer, since no penis is shaped like that o_O
Except Claeric..
It kinda looks like a really wide open book at the top.. only instead of pages it's fugg hair. ;P
"it looked like the end of a penis."

Took a record-breaking 436lb dump this morning after consuming a family of rhinos.
^ LOL
I like the style of the hair. And the model eyes look beatiful!
I believe Claeric is confusing the ice cream cone hair with this one - that is the one where lots of people were saying it looked like a penis, not any hair similar to this.
The other hair was way worse, I hope Anubis re-textures this one.
I think everyone can agree the Peggy's dark ass roots are annoying!

Wait, am I seriously trying to define hyperbole via a dick joke to an Anon on a Sims 3 web site?
I am officially the idiot here.
^LMAO, actonthat just royally owned that poster.
^I know right? lol
I love when people try to correct others, call them MORON and then it's them who look like complete idiots at the end.
An Hyperbole is an exaggeration. HERE ENDS YOUR LESSON.
MORON.
I liked the first variataion of this minus the top. I think this one has an improved top but it would be nice if it wasn't so poofy.
It's pretty, but I don't like the accessory.
I dont like the hair but i want the accessory for weddings ;)
So i'm guessing it's Peggys and hasn't been released then?
