  2. The second one has been converted already, right? I think I've seen it before but I'm not sure.

  3. Thanks Raonjena. Keep them coming. Finally i don't feel like i wasted my donation to the site now.

I am actually loving the conversions and i am so glad it's the male hair. Too many female hairs already out there.

  5. ^ Don't worry I have many plans for Raonjena's recent spew ;)

I like the first one, the second one is just okay, I don't care for the style much and it looks as if it might have some transparency issues....

Just an fyi for everybody, Raon seems to be skipping elders for some reason, out of three recent hairs she's done and I've checked none of them were marked for elders. It's an easy fix but just letting you know....

  7. I like them, the second is actually converted already, I'm pretty sure I have it in my game.
They may not be super original styles but at least they are something you see around irl (meaning, they are normal male hairs).
I've benn enabling them for elders too, not sure why elder don't get love from Raon.

But I'm glad to know my kids will have these soon, Robodl! :D

  10. I think I've seen a female version of the second one, I could be wrong though. As for the male version, I'd like to know where I can download it too.

  11. This is totally and completely off-topic, but ABC Family has canceled a great show called "Huge". I know there's a lot of overweight people who play the Sims, and there's a lot of teens who play the Sims. These groups in particular, but also anybody who was a teenager at some point can probably relate to some of the characters on this show. It's not just about fat kids, it's about insecurities, sexual orientation, jealousy, "frenemies", family instability, and more. It was a GREAT show. I urge you to check it out, and if you like it at all, sign the petition: http://www.petitionbuzz.com/petitions/savehuge

  12. 'I know there's a lot of overweight people who play the Sims'

    lol
    such a charmer

  13. That is such a generalization, that a lot of people who play the sims are fat. It's not the sims, it's the generation. Their diet, exercise, etc. It has nothing to do with sims, but with culture and age and technology. It is a big problem though, and Huge should be supported. A lack of education about healthy weight and how to obtain it is sometimes a contributing factor.

  14. Just for saying "I know there's a lot of overweight people who play the Sims" I doubt anyone is going to sign that petition of yours... fat person or not.

  15. I'm not making a generalization based on some sort of stereotype. I play the Sims. I am fat. I have played since 2000. I know, for a fact, that there are a lot of overweight people who play the Sims. I have spoken with many Sims players over the last 10 years, and many who I have spoken to identify themselves as overweight, or have friends and relatives who are overweight. These people can probably relate to the characters on Huge in a way that they cannot relate to the characters on a show like Gossip Girl, where almost everyone is conventionally pretty and thin.

Huge is a wonderful show. I'm just trying to get the word out about this movement to let ABC Family know that television fans are unhappy about it's cancellation. This is one of the blogs I read most often, and I know there's an audience here, so I posted.

  16. If it was cancelled maybe it was not as good as you say.

And saying almost every sims player is fat is really stupid; not the smartest way to get people to sign that stupid thing. Even I felt insulted by that comment even thought I'm not fat.

  17. Learn to read. I said "I know there's a lot of overweight people who play the Sims". That doesn't mean every person, or even most people, who play the Sims are fat. In fact, I said that some Sims players are fat and/or teens, and that fat people and teens in particular could relate to the characters on Huge.

You're just looking for reasons to feel insulted.

  18. I don't know if I want to dl these if they aren't available to kids and elders, tbqh. Kind of sloppy (and hum. I have the second hair already, it seems. I WONDER WHERE I GOT IT FROM *eyeroll*).

I know, for a fact, that there are a lot of overweight people who play the Sims.

    AHA OH WOW.

  19. "A LOT of overweight people"

To me that means that there are more fat players than thin. So yes, that doesn't mean EVERY person, but it includes a large amount of them.

And you know FOR A FACT? lol, oh dear.
Now I wonder if asian players are all fat too.

  20. "I'm not making a generalization based on some sort of stereotype"

Stereotype: Video games players = fat.

Now if that is not a stereotype, I don't know what it is.

  21. Just because 30.6% of the American population is fat, doesn't mean the rest of the world is too.

Generalizing just because you happen to met some fat people is ridiculous.

  22. It's the only joke other than Duke Nukem Forever. /jk

  23. I don't think you mean to be offensive, but your sales pitch for the petition can come across as a bit thoughtless.

Here's a suggestion, why don't you make a fanfic of the show using the Sims 3? come up with a good plot and some awesome CC, then try to get featured on various sims 3 blogs. It will be much more effective and you will probably have fun doing it too.

  24. "I know there's A LOT of overweight people who play the Sims [...] In fact, I said that SOME Sims players are fat"

A lot - To a very great degree or extent.

Some - Being an unspecified number or quantity.

I think I know how to read just fine, maybe it's you who doesn't know the meaning of certain words?
Since saying "some" doesn't specify how many, you are just saying the same thing using another word.

  26. For fucks sake, there are a lot of illiterate tards in this thread. She made an insensitive and poorly worded comment, but you lot are putting even more words in her (already very large) mouth.

Also, I have never heard of the show but it sounds "motivational" which usually just comes across as corny feel-good fodder for those with self-esteem issues.
