The first post about floors say they can be laid like a rug. So I assume they are in the rug category.I really didn't want the seamed ones, but knew Inge would work it out for seamless. The underside therefore is higher than a normal plaster ceiling, and you will definitely need to use a custom ceiling trim to go around the glazed areaWhich, of course, will be easy what with all the custom ceiling trims out there. Wait. Does she mean to color the edge of the ceiling or use edges like the placeable ones from TSR (in the pictures)? Because "use a custom ceiling trim" isn't as easy as it sounds if it's the latter.
There's nothing hard about placing ceiling trims! Angela made one that you place singly and one that you place like a fence, both of which are free, so no subscription needed. In fact the fence one isn't even on TSR, it's on my site and can be downloaded without even registering lol.When the floor is cut, it doesn't "seal" itself round the edges giving you a colourable edge like you normally get. That's the basis of this need for a trimming.
I got the new seamless version in my game and it works perfectly, outdoors loving sims get (one with nature) moodlet when in the room. just brilliant!
Inge, will you be making angled versions for skylights?
I don't see why this shouldn't work as angled skylights, but I was kinda hoping other people would join in and make something from them :D I gave full permission for cloning!
you don't need the ceiling trim, you can now edit that exposed part of the wall with create a style. Not sure if this is with the latest update but I only noticed it today when placing the glass tiles.
Well it depends if you put them on an actual floor or in thin air. If the latter, they will look fine, but your sim won't be able to walk on them.

I noticed the seamless ones, while seamless, still have a tiny little super thin hole between them on one (or more?) side(s). Is that fix-able or is it necessary to avoid seams?
I don't get any gaps in my game. All the vertices were manually entered to start and end in the same place, meaning they should have 100% seamlessness on the right settings, but possibly some graphic cards won't deal with them the same way. If you want to though, you could try enlarging the mesh by a fraction for some overlap. Why don't you post at my forum rather than relying on me to check these comments?

Shivar, dear, I think Inge was trying to say it would be easier for her if you posted on her site with the problems you're experiencing. Methinks she said it as more of a lighthearted suggestion, rather than an annoyed "why don't you", which I think you percieved her comment as.
