  2. ... I really don't get what this does.

  4. This has just made every other OMSP obsolete. So now you'll only need 1! And you can move it everywhere! This is beyond awesome. ^^

Well you are little bit behind. If you payed attention to anything going on, you would know that the latest expansion pack allows sims to play piano and other instruments. Seriously, its EVERYWHERE

  7. This is awesome but... Can it be placed pressing alt or does it snap to grid?

  8. This is very interesting, I'm going to try in game. I have those yellow ones from MTS that are stackable, but this version looks like it's easier to use.

Doesn't snap to grid with or without alt. Alt can however be used to shift it up and down to the exact level you want. And it doesn't need Move objects on to work! ^^

  10. ^edit. Spoke just a tad too soon. It does sorta align to the grid sadly. But, you can move the surface its supposed to be on around to achieve the desired effect, and there's several slots on this so you can play with slot placement, and surface placement until you get it to behave the way you want.

I was able to get a knife to be stabbed through a stack of letters on top of a desk using this and alt.

  11. This isn't going to replace all OMSPs since it doesn't allow you to move it around on the floor when ALT is pressed. Since the whole point is to place things anywhere this is less useful than the ones already out there. Back to the drawing board.

  12. I can't wait to use these so I can finally place stuff on top of my refrigerators in game.

  13. There's an easier way to put stuff on your fridge.

"This isn't going to replace all OMSPs since it doesn't allow you to move it around on the floor when ALT is pressed."

But its adjustable to any height, and has a bunch of slots (I think I counted 9. There may be more.) So you can place the item on a slot closer to where you want it if you want it in some ultra specific spot. Seriously, this is way better than the stacking one, or the other separate height ones I'd been using.

Also, I'm not sure if things you can shift up/down with alt can be moved around surfaces using the same command. I think it might be one or the other. But the slots still make up for that, and if all else fails you can move your surface.

Not exactly. It goes in levels, rather than a smooth up-and-down movement, if that makes sense. Meaning that it won't always be the perfect height for everything, but it will likely work for most situations.

  15. ^Hold alt, and it goes up smoothly. That feature works for all shiftable things. And it's probably why the alt key doesn't serve its usual no grid purpose.

  16. this is cool but i wouldn't really put a candle on a piano ever...at least not in rl haha(:

  17. I assume they were just demonstrating that you can use this pretty much anywhere, AND your sims can still interact properly with the items it is near.

I didn't know I needed to use a cheat with the other OMSPs, so the few times I tried to use them, I couldn't. This one apparently doesn't require any cheats, which makes placement easier. :)
