  1. I really don't think having a default skin counts as no CC.

  2. When I think of no CC, I don't really include the skin. I typically think of CC as "you cannot edit a single pixel on this sim, or it'll be ruined" or "Make sure you have these items, or else the sim will crash and your computer will become ablaze in a fiery inferno of destruction."

Default skins really don't cause problems like this, so I really don't think I'd include that.

That said, I do like this sim.

  3. I was wondering why he didn't look like EA pudding. He definitely won't look the same without the default skin, but I guess it's okay since it's his default. You don't need to download anything.

I like him too, and since he has no CC it's like a no commitment thing.

  4. AH! Apparently, he was made with a slider hack. That's dissapointing.

I find it more than a little bit funny that some people insist slider hacks are so very important. I've never played with one, and I've made quite a few sims that look just like or similar to those made with slider hacks.

Ehn, I still like him, but I've kind of lost a wee bit of respect...

That's all well and good, but I doubt you'd be able to make most Sims modeled after real people or celebs without a slider hack. The default EA system puts extreme limitations on not only types of sliders, but the ranges.

However, I do get your point about using a slider hack when the Sim is supposed to be CC-free. Custom sliders and ranges might be mods, but they are still custom content.

  7. Why does he have a bow on his shirt? Is it some kind of brand logo?

  8. well his skin tone and his eyes are both CC

So nice job, but no you fail.

  9. You only have to download two items: skin and eyes. TECHNICALLY it has CC, but the sim would look like shit with those huge EA eyes and the pudding skin.

Shes using sliders too? Ok...maybe she's stretching the truth a bit lol. But again, not many things to download. :)

  10. "Not many things to download" doesn't matter if you are advertising that something is "CC free". It's false advertising. :)

  11. "Project No CC" has CC, thats an extremely misleading name. I really think you have to absoloutely mean no cc when you say it, If you want the perks of making a cc free creation, then it has to be cc free.

Plus imo the sims isnt that great either, but this is just my opinion.

  13. "Project No CC" has CC ... lol fail

  14. Yeah, the name is silly, she could've used a name like, "Project SOME CC" or even "Project less likely to rape your computer" only...well...good.

I like the sim himself though, he seems interesting.

She has another sim up with that same "Project no CC" name but using the custom eyes and skin. I like her sims, but I agree that the name is highly misleading. :)

  15. ^Well, as you can have unlimited ND skins, and he functions fine without his exact defaults in place, I don't see the problem.

As for slider hacks, I also don't personally count extra sliders and a slider hack as 'CC' either, because everyone should have those anyway, if they're even going to try and make a sim that doesn't look like an EA default.

You don't need to download the skin/eyes. If you don't have the hacks or sliders already you should, unless you're really into Maxis Match. But whatever.

  16. It's about their advertising that it's no CC. Whether someone should have sliders or skins that are CC is not what people are finding misleading. I don't care about the sim one way or the other, but I do think creators should stick to the facts in their advertising and not say something is true when it's obviously not true.

  17. Exactly, blue_genjutsu. It doesn't matter WHAT kind of custom content it is, if you are advertising "NO CC" Sims then that should mean exactly what it says - NO CC.

I have custom skins and slider hacks and have had so for awhile, but if I were to make a Sim with them to share, I wouldn't advertise the Sim as "Project NO CC."

  18. Well I take the no CC statement at the beginning to mean, that no CC comes attached to this sim. That is all I care about, I hate when sims come with CC attached to them that I hate to uninstall the sim to get rid of the cc

  19. The "No CC" thing, I think, obviously means that no custom content is required for this sim. There's no CC hair, clothes, makeup etc. So the person making it used no CC other than their own defaults, which of course change from game to game. I don't see what everyone is whinging about.

  20. I hate the way Arisuka replied to comments who questioned her about this no CC sim (and the way Hysterical Paroxysm defended her and deleted the comments)

Arisuka, if you don't want people to complain about your sim maybe you should have changed the title in the first place you dumbass!

    Your project is fail!
