This is great! Thanks daluved1.

Miss the toddler beds from Sims 2, the toddler could get in it without help. Aww those were the days!

Could I request that someone makes a toddler bed which is just an adult/kid sized bed? Because IRL I've known most toddlers just get a normal bed...

Only, when the crying and shaking the crib frame animation happens, they'll be shaking air.

^ Good point...

Toddler beds in TS2 had the same problem. No way around it.

That's the unfortunate thing, hopefully when new animations roll we'll be about to have proper toddler beds with animated sheets too :)

can you make a version that lets the toddlers get in and out by themselves?

"can you make a version that lets the toddlers get in and out by themselves?"

No, because that would require custom animations, which no one has really figured out yet. The first tool for it is only in the early stages and I haven't seen any working animations produced yet.

Good lord I'm sleep deprived, my post should say:

"when new animations roll out we'll be able to have"

Honestly, we need more toddler items and animations.

Maybe they can add those toddler rails that some people use, so the kids don't fall off the bed. That way it wont look like they are shaking the air.

Anonymous said...

^agreed. most toddler beds they sell around here do have the partial rails on them

Adorable! And what a clever idea. I couldn't care less about the animations. This is excellent work. Especially the 4 colour channels and the altered UV map to avoid pattern distortions. Both of these are real sticking points for me and I greatly appreciate your attention to detail. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing.

^ I love you for saying "couldn't care less"! It seems the world is full of fail because too many idiots say "could care less".

Hello daluved, those are pretty awesome beds. I am actually in a dilemma right now whether I build or buy my kids a new bed. Regardless of which, you give me pretty nice idea on what to look for when deciding the best Toddler Beds For Boys. Thanks!
