  1. Oh My God, Yes! I have been desperately wanting them to update forever because their stuff is such high quality and these sets look fabulous!!! Kitchen reminds me of the TS2 one they did that was my favorite of all time.

  2. Nothing in this set is even worth donation.

Seriously, people have been knowing how to add slots to objects for HOW long? You shouldn't be creating cabinets or shelves that come pre-decorated anymore, especially if you have the nerve to charge for them.

No way would I give one dime for some mediocre, outdated work.

  3. calm down, amanda.

  4. *Agrees with anon #1*

They should have used the extra slot technique, and should have kept the deco items as clutter that could be swapped in and out.

Love how they say they have the 'Best' content for the Sims when they make lame mistakes like that.

  5. ^Exactly. They shouldn't be charging for custom content anyway, but to try to make people pay for something so behind the times is offensive at worst and laughable at best.

  6. Nice work but I think I'll keep my dollars for a worthwhile cause.

Too early to say, really, because this is the first time they have set a price for any of their creations for The Sims 3.

    You mean like EA does?

  17. What are you people even complaining about? It's not that big of a deal.

  18. ^ Charging $5.90USD is worth complaining about. None of what's listed is worth that amount.

  19. WOW, I see PMBD has their panties in a bunch.......

Seriously, if you let crap like this get to you then you are neither intelligent nor do you have a real life.

  20. I like the windows. Not a huge fan of the rest of it, not enough to give 'em any money for it.

  21. "You mean like EA does?"

I don't buy EA's Store kitchen sets for the same reason. As for the Late Night cabinets, I bought the game for the nightlife and all the other aspects of it...if it had only been the cabinets, I can assure you I would not have.

Also, it's against the Sims 3 EULA for USERS to charge for content. EA has a right to make whatever crap they want and charge for it. Holy Simoly does not.

Lastly, the main reason I download custom content is because I want BETTER than what EA can offer, not some of the same. If your content is the same or worse than EA's, I'm not going to waste my time downloading and I'm surely not going to waste my money.

  22. "Seriously, if you let crap like this get to you then you are neither intelligent nor do you have a real life."

Shouldn't that apply to you, as well? After all, you're clearly upset by others' reactions. I suggest you go off, lead your busy life, and let the grown-ups talk.

I love Holy Simoly's stuff, but considering the tiny amount of TS3 stuff available on their site, putting up a pay set is pretty ridiculous.

  23. I only like the windows too. But paying 5.90 for 2 small windows is insane. I'll pass on this donation.

  24. But MATY and or PMBD hate EA games, why do they want to continue being their bitch and take up an issue that is supposed to be their fight?

I would never fight for someone or something that I didn't like or believe in, if you go onto either one of those sites and say something even midly complimentary about EA games you will be called either a 12 or a sheep.

In my opinion, PMBD is the ultimate defender of EA games, and besides, if EA really, actually cared that much ALL of these sites would be shut down.

MATY may hate EA, but PMBD doesn't. Too often people confuse the two. They are VERY DIFFERENT websites with entirely different atmospheres.

You're entirely spot-on that PMBD is, by definition, the ultimate EA supporter.

  27. I like pre-decorated cabinets myself. I really don't want to download five hundred bundles of clutter just so I can fill up a bunch of cabinets. If I DID want to decorate cabinets, there are many I could download, but I would hate it if pre-cluttered cabinets were never made again because someone considers them "out-of-date"

    ReplyDelete
  28. Thanks for the link anon.

And I agree with Ayaa, it is good to have pre-decorated cabinets as well. I like some clutter but I cannot have thousands of clutter files in my mods folder.

There is a place for both, some like them and some don't.

And I definitely would not pay for anything!

  29. I'm downloading - I *like* HolySimoly's stuff - but I'd never give them a dime!

  30. same here with ayaa, I try not to have to download too many deco items, I like to keep it simple.

Plus I never said I was paying for it, so yes I am excited to get high quality stuff for free.

I have no problem supporting sites that create beautiful, free items to be shared with everyone. It's when they starting demanding money for access to downloads that I refuse.
