Do you remember the Xtreme career from the very first The Sims? I do, and I'm proud to present this conversion of the career to The Sims 3. It's basically the same career but wages, skills and more have been adjusted to fit the new series.

These are the 10 levels for this career. Job titles and descriptions have been taken from The Sims, with a few adjustments in descriptions to fit new skill requirements.

1. Daredevil
Swim under the surface of a frozen lake, leap between rooftops with a bicycle, beat a train to a crossing, juggle a chainsaw while whistling "Dixie." Your workday is short, but intense.
Wage: §29/hour
Hours: 9-15
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Promotion Reqs: Mood, Athletic (0-3)

2. Bungee Jumper Instructor
The salary stinks - but whoever thought that you'd get paid to do this? Athletic skills are critical here; nutrition and fatigue must be carefully monitored at home. You might invest in home gym equipment as well, to keep in the best shape possible.

10 Apprenticeships for your Teenage Sims! by missyhissy

So University Life is here and lots of Young Adult, Adult and even Elder Sims are living it up at Uni!
But not every Sim can afford to go to Uni. So I have provided a solution for those ambitious teenagers who may not be able to live the University Life, but who still want a further education.

So here, I present you, ten Apprenticeships!
Accounting
Construction Building
Hospitality and Catering
ICT
Learning and Development
Music Business
Property Services
Sporting Excellence
Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Veterinary Nursing

Now, these Apprenticeships are, essentially, part-time teen careers. Your teens can go and apply at the associated rabbit-hole building and land themselves a three-level apprenticeship. They will earn money each day and will work from 4pm-7pm, Monday to Friday.
Each apprenticeship has three levels and each have two or three custom tones to build skills or improve career performance. Once your teen is promoted to Level 3, they will receive a reward certificate in their Family Inventory to put up on the wall to show off their achievements. As an additional bonus, when your teen ages up to Young Adult, when they apply for the connecting career, they’ll start at a higher level!
Each Apprenticeship has its own custom uniform. There are, currently, no opportunities. It's challenging enough getting the teens to complete homework and build up the required skills, without throwing extra opportunities into the equation!

As a US Army veteran myself, I'm just not all that thrilled with the way EA handled the Military career. Using the American Army enlisted ranks, your sim can join up as a raw recruit and work his or her way up to the rank of Command Sergeant Major - the highest US Army enlisted rank except for the Sergeant Major of the Army.

Having benefitted from the wonderful mods from all of you fabulous creators out there, I decided it was time to give something back. This is my first attempt at modding anything, so I hope you'll all enjoy it!

As with any custom career, you'll need to have Twallan's Base Careers Mod installed in order for it to work.

1. Go See- Your agent is sending you to different designers and potential clients for a Go See. Go Sees can help you book more modelling gigs and at the same time raises your confidence and charisma which are vital for an up-and-coming model like you.
2. Stay Fit- It is very important for a model like you to be fit. Since modelling is a very competitive career, it is imperative to stay in shape. Staying fit means eating healthy balanced diet and exercising. It also raises your Athletic skill.

When you're down there is only one way but up. So you bust your hump everyday and prove to everyone that you are capable of joining the upper ranks and maybe become an Emperor someday. It always starts with a dream!

2. Noble- Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri/ $50/hour/ 8am-1pm/ Business 4/ Car Expensive 2
You are now higher than a lowly commoner. You don't have to work as hard as before. As a noble, you get different perks like having your own small piece of land, having your own people to work for you and a higher pay. You are living a better life now than you were a mere commoner. But don't get too comfortable! You still have to familiarize yourself to the duties and responsibilities of a noble. You hope to become one of the greatest rulers in history so you make sure to do everything to improve your skills and relationship with the people.

1. Outsider- Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri/ -$10/hour/ 5pm-10pm
You are finally introduced to the "Social Circle". You are excited on what these classy socialites look like. But somehow you feel out of place and awkward, especially around the elite. You feel that you are invisible and you don't belong to this group of people. As an outsider, it is normal for you to feel this way especially now that you are just starting to know what the "Social Circle" is. But you are not giving up, mingling with these socialites might do the trick!

2. Newcomer- Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri/ -$12/hour/ 6pm-11pm
Now that you are within the "Social Circle", you feel more confident than before. You are starting to learn the ropes around your job. As a newcomer, you need to build your social network. You have to introduce yourself to different people. It is your job to attend parties as much as you can. It is really crucial for a newcomer like you to widen your circle of friends to secure your position in the "Social Circle" and maybe become one of the elite.

3. Social Climber- Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat/ -$15/hour/ 6pm-11pm
Ouch! Being labeled a social climber is a bit harsh but you don't care! You make sure you know the name of every person in the room. So far so good, every strategy you use turn out to be really helpful, especially in raising your social status in the society. Does end justify the means? Well, we will see in the future.

Helping Sims with their basic day-to-day problems was a highly useful step of your training. You now understand why people feel things, but how can they? As a psychology student you’ll learn all about how the brain works, diseases of the mind and medications to counter them. Long hours of studying will be essential seeing as the brain is a highly complex organ that will take a lot of logic to get your head around..

Psychology Intern – Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri, $27/hour, 8am-6pm

With a diploma in your hand and good will in your heart you can finally set off into the working world of Psychology – or so you think! Now that you’re on a hospital ward you’ll finally get some hands on knowledge of Psychological diseases and their role in everyday life. Helping your superior diagnose and care for their patients is something you’ve been dreaming of, but in reality you’re more likely to be typing up reports for the boss. Let’s face it, what else are Interns for?

Astronomy Career for Sims 3 (Requested) by missyhissy

1. Equipment Engineer ~ It doesn’t sound like anything to do with Astronomy but it really is. Without you, nobody can use the telescopes and nobody can use the fancy computer systems. You observe the workings of the telescope and can start to sound like a real Astronomer by using fancy technical terms.

Days: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri

2. Stargazer ~ Something that actually sounds like you’re an Astronomer. Gazing at stars by night sounds easy but it will take its toll on you. Memorise the names of the stars and their positions in the sky and you could be on your way to promotion. If you don’t, you’ll probably be back to trying to sound smart and technical as an Equipment Engineer.
