Bear with me on the suggestions
I temporarily switched from Nrelate to Outbrain because the new Nrelate update removed the suggestions below each post and only showed up on the main page.
And now temporarily back to Nrelate so they can work on an issue with the logo. As you can see the labels and comments links are off.
I hope this update is reversed because it's much easier on the eyes than the others. I'll switch back to Outbrain once the blog is checked and only go back to Nrelate if the update is reversed.

Labels
I've added a new Labels page to the top menu so that should be a little easier to navigate than the drop down/scroll menu. I'll keep the drop menu on the main page.
The categories have been broken down a little more. The most recent is the makeup category, and it's been broken down into these below - about half are done. The Makeup label will be gone once all are properly sorted and will be changed to the new Makeup - Costume/Misc label.
Makeup
Makeup - Blush
Makeup - Costume/Misc
Makeup - Eyeshadow/Liner
Makeup - Freckles
Makeup - Lips
Makeup - Moles
Makeup - Scars
This is what I have so far for the Accessories categories. And I'll probably change the Accessories - Eyelashes to Makeup - Eyelashes - major sorting still needed. :)
Accessories
Accessories - Backpacks
Accessories - Belts
Accessories - Bracelets
Accessories - Clothing
Accessories - Earrings
Accessories - Eyelashes
Accessories - Fingernails
Accessories - Glasses
Accessories - Gloves
Accessories - Handbags
Accessories - Hats
Accessories - Necklaces
Accessories - Piercings
Accessories - Rings
Accessories - Stockings and Leggings
Accessories - Umbrellas
Lots are also being broken down and so far this is what I've done. Eventually, Residential and Community lots will be changed to Lots - Residential, etc., so that everything is together.
Lots - Apartment Buildings
Lots - Daycare
Lots - Hangouts
Lots - Nectary
Lots - Seasons
Lots - Showtime
Lots - Supernatural
Lots - University
And the Bars, Gym, Nightclubs and School labels have been removed from lots and objects, properly categorized and is now...
Lots - Bars and Nightclubs
Objects - Bars and Nightclubs
Lots - Gyms
Objects - Gym
Lots - Schools
Objects - School
Objects - Community

Over 100,000 Page Views Today and other things
This blog got over 100,000 hits for the very first time today. Thank you everyone. :)
This Week
All Time
Anyway, a lot more posts have been removed or added to the 'to be removed' list in the Broken Links section. Over 13,000 posts have been deleted - mostly dead links and some other low viewed/repetitive posts. At this point it's a must. I've also started adding posts that link to expired/deleted DL links and won't remove those if the DL links are updated. I'll wait around a month or two and check again.
The Poses, Accessories and Hair labels need some serious cleaning/sorting and I've already started working on those. About 250 poses have been deleted and around the same amount of hairs have also been deleted. Mostly ones with no must haves and very low views and of course ones that are no longer available. This was done before the 'must have' problems that started about two weeks ago where the counts basically get cut in half then goes back and forth. I'm sure Blogger will sort that out.
I've also switched from Linkwithin to Nrelate for the suggestions below each post. Linkwithin had taken over all the referral stats and entry pages, so there was no way to get an accurate view of my traffic sources.
The 'Celebrity Sims' label has been changed to Sims - Real People - Celebrities - Characters and I removed the 'Sims' label from those posts which makes searching for random Sims a little easier. - big cleanup still needed. Also some lots labels have been changed and moved around. Eventually all will be labelled Lots - Residential, Lots - Apartments, etc.
I've also started moving hair creators who only have a couple of hairs and haven't had anything new in a long time to the new Hair - Uncategorized label. The 'Hair by Unknown' label is gone.
The Accessories label has been somewhat sorted over the last couple of months, but I'm sure you already saw that. It still needs to be broken down into more categories like 'Accessories - Socks, Accessories - Leggings' etc. - Soon and suggest if you must. :)
The old 'Clothing - Female' label is gone and all of those have been properly categorized or deleted.
The old 'Clothing - Male' label will be next.
That's all I can think of for now.

A little change
All of the affiliate banners on the main/every page are being moved to the links section so that should cut down the loading time for some of you. I'll have to look over the banners again since some might be from sites that are no longer up. If I missed any or if your banner got lost in the transfer you can leave a comment here or in the section shown below and I'll get to it soon.
Anyway, I'm going to delete the banners now and rearrange the others.
See you tomorrow :)

Broken Links
All links from A through R have been updated and the dead sites have been removed except for ICON, Lili Sims and JomSims. Plus a lot of new sites have been added over the last week or two, but I could have forgot some.
I'll get to S through Z soon and if I forgot to add your link you can add it here and I'll add it ASAP.

TSR Pets CC Bug Fixer
In October 2011, EA released a game update (patch version 1.26 for PC, 1.27 for Mac) to coincide with the release of the Pets EP. These both included substantial changes to the way Custom Content (CC) works, to enable the animations of Pets to work with objects they could interact with.
The result was that all pre-existing CC was broke and failed to work in the updates games.
TSR have worked tirelessly for days to fix the problem for the entire Sims community. First we fixed our Workshop tool so that all newly created CC would work with the latest game versions. Then we started fixing all of our Sims 3 downloads on the server so that newly downloaded content would also work. Finally, and this is why you are here, we released a tool to fix players’ games, patching their downloaded CC as well as that already installed in their games. The result was a "fix it all" tool to get players games working again. It’s called "TSR Pets CC Bug Fixer", and you can download it in step 1 of our guide.

Pets Patch CC Issues - Update
TSR staff have been working hard to fix the problems caused by the Pets EP and the 1.26 game patch (1.27 for Mac) released by EA. To enable Pets animations, EA have changed the way many objects work. Without boring you with the technical details the result was that most CC fails to work in the game after applying the patch or Pets EP. Micke (our über coder that created Workshop) has created some fixes for the problem but not without generating others, which some users are likely to be unhappy with. We can fix objects to work with Pets and the latest game patch. Workshop is now fixed and exports objects which work with Pets and the patch. We will run a batch process to fix all of our existing content "server side" which we hope to start on Thursday.

So what do you think of Pets?
I was really excited to install Pets and did with no problems. But the new problems didn't leave much time to play, so all I've basically done with the game so far is start it up, create a couple of my real pets, add them to my household and save and quit. The reason I didn't get a chance to play yet is because of the (as everyone already knows) new broken content issue. Instead, I spent hours removing any and all custom surfaces and doors. So much fun...
Anyway, here's the loading screen for the new world.
An anonymous poster suggested I make a post where people could list what CC is not working for them anymore and I suppose you could do that here. I was going to make a new tab for that but Blogger has not fixed the issue.

More about the comments
The comments have been switched back. I got an email earlier from ID and they are working on the problem so for now it's back to the old comments.
I saved a backup of the ID comments and will try adding them to blogger tomorrow - that's all for now.

New ***Trial*** Comment System
OK more updates on the new comments...
I've emailed ID about the comments disappearing from the front page and I'm just waiting for their response.
I got the comments to display on the main page through ID. Comments now open in a new tab. You can still click the title if you like the look of the other more. Still playing around with everything... end of update for now:)
Both comments enabled is not going to work. I'll just leave the new system on for a day or two and see what happens. You can just click the title of each post to get to the comments page. I'll keep this close to the top until I figure out whether or not the new comments are here to stay.
I'm Not crazy about some things and love other things. The main problem I have is how the comments display with IE. They overlap and just look bad but I never use IE and haven't updated it in so long it just could be on my end. Firefox works perfectly but I will not keep this if others have problems with IE.
This is the first post with the new comment system, so try it out and let me know what you think. All the old comments will remain as they are and you can still comment using the blogger system. To update the old comments to the new service would hide all of the old comments and that's not an option.
Anyway, some are going to hate this, some will like it, but for now I'm just trying something new.
Some of the good things about the new system is the rating system, replies and top comments. Then there's the forum style commenting, so no popup comments window. :( I'll look more into that if it's possible.
You don't have to register for anything and can just comment as usual. You can sign in to blogger, etc., with OpenID. As for Anonymous comments, I tried leaving a comment using another browser and was asked to fill out the name/email/optional website form once, but the second time was not asked for anything and it posted as Anonymous.
Anyway, I'm craving cherries, so I'll post this now and check back to see what you think in an hour or so.

Parsimonious Needs Your Help!
You can take a quick survey at Parsimonious to help them keep their site up.
I'm fairly new to The Sims myself (about 3 years) and I believe Parsimonious was the first site I found when I found out about CC. One of my best friends was playing The Sims 1 and she really wanted me to play the game. At first I thought it was really stupid, but after finding out about CC, I pretty much went on a downloading spree and was addicted to building and decorating. Quickly moved on to The Sims 2 and of course now The Sims 3:)
Anyway, Parsimonious is looking for at least 2,000 people to take the survey. This blog gets that many visitors in around two hours, so help if you can.
Please help Parsimonious if you can
Thank you Lotus:)
Just click on the area below "Please save us from quite certain death" to take the survey.
And while you're there you can download this stuff and a lot more if you missed it the first time around:)

Please save us from quite certain death...
Kate says: in addition to a lot of administrative chaos, I'm now faced with a big financial problem which only YOU can solve (yes you...). I shan't bore you with the specific details here (you can read those in our Support pages) but I am now begging each and every one of you to give up a minute of your life to fill in this survey.
It doesn't matter if you've filled it out in previous years, it requires no information that is specific and personal to you, no tracking, no sign up, essentially it is completely harmless, but absolutely vital for us in order to keep a huge portion of our funding (no funding = no Parsimonious or any of the other 27 Sims sites who get free hosting from us). In spite of a really quiet year we're still chowing our way through well over 100Gb of bandwidth each and every day, thanks to some canny thinking and some help from our web host, costs have actually gone down in spite of rising traffic for the first time in 7 years BUT it is still a great deal more than I can personally afford. So please just take it - it won't bite and there's a good chance that it help if enough people respond (I am looking for at least 2000 responses in order to stave off disaster, but getting more responses would be very helpful)
Please help Parsimonious if you can

No It Didn't Happen Again
In case you're wondering why you're seeing things that were already posted:)
I'm trying to re-post what was lost over the past couple of days since only 4 or 5 of the lost posts were restored.
I'm really sorry to all the people I replied to about the affiliates and links being added. I guess they were lost in this mess and around two months of requests were added on Thursday and are not showing up. Figures, this happens the day after I added them. But what can you do. Unfortunately, I delete all emails right after so I have no way of adding them unless you email me again. I'm very sorry about this.

Just in case this happens again today
It looks like Blogger had a major meltdown and posts from the past two days were removed and supposedly backed up, but not yet restored. I will re-post whatever was lost if all are not restored. As of now it looks like only one post was restored. If you've been ripping your hair out over the problems with your blog, keep an eye on this thread in the Blogger forum. I added the available updates to this problem below.

We are very sorry that users are unable to publish to Blogger right now. We have rolled back the maintenance release from last night and as a result, posts and comments from all users made after 7:37 am PDT on May 11, 2011 have been removed. Again, we apologize that this happened and our engineers are working hard to return Blogger to normal and restore your posts and comments. We will post a report once this work is complete.
