In the third picture, you can see that there is a flaw. You can see a bit of brown hair on the side of the head, near the ears.
I know that without this, it will look like a bald person with a wig. However, that little part doesn't fit with the rest in term of quality and it can't be recolored.
Here are some in-game pics. I don't think it looks bad at all. I don't like the huge tendril in the face, though.

I wonder why people assumed it isn't recolorable. It's even written on the thumbnails.
Thanks Nicole for the in-game pictures. I wonder why your guy doesn't have a sideburn since my teen Sim does, but that sideburn of his can't be recolored.
I get that same visible "hair cap" thing that you do, Mura. Which is why I removed it from my game. I saw it on female sims as well as male sims (my girls really don't need a side burn up there).
But I do appreciate that they released a free hair :D

I'm currently on the fence with it myself. It's a decent hair, but I deleted a Peggy hair featuring a similar style and I'm beginning to dislike this one as well. I guess I'll delete it since I'm trying to have a fairly light CC game.
i tried it in game and omg its such a badly made hair, its like they got lazy and decided to just make it free, its too low on the head and just...horrid... thats just my opinion

Also, does anybody know where the earlier free TS3 Newsea hairs are? I clicked on the "free" tag on the new website, but it only brought up 5 hairs, 3 of which are TS2. And unfortunately, places like the Booty and Sims Cave only do the pay versions.
Hi all. To anyone who is having any trouble opening - please use Winrar and NOT Winzip. For some reason Winzip has a major problem with Newsea's hairs. The last two freebies I downloaded Winzip refused to open.
On another note, I like this hair. I like Newsea's styles. I just won't pay for them :-)
I've seen that problem with supposedly corrupt files as well. Once I got some sims 2 items from a friend and downloaded them over and over because Alzip was telling me it was corrupt and then Winrar opened it no problem. I sort of like the hair but maybe only because the first pic reminds me of Aya Brea from Parasite Eve 1.
I actually really like this hair, and it's for all ages too! Yay!

Hm, I just noticed that guys don't have a sideburn. It may be because of the blonde color of Greg's (my sim's) hair, but yeah.

I personally like the hair. I didn't notice the flaw until it was pointed out. I've never been good with details.
