What sky trick? Do you mean the camera angle? The sky looks exactly like that in my game as well. It's not photoshopped at all. You need to have high graphic settings.
Nice lot, it exemplifies what is possible in player modification for TS3. Well done custom textures and muted colors. That's why it looks so realistic. Maxis made most of Sunset Valley like a colorful cartoon on LSD the patterns/colors are too chaotically placed to look realistic.
I hate it when people don't take pictures of the inside of the houses they upload. It can be the best looking house ever, but I still won't download if they don't take shots of the inside or give a pic of the floor plans.
Almost everything Modern_Sims does is amazing. The house description explicitly states that it's not furnished, so I don't find it all that necessary to have interior pictures. This is great work.

Looks cool on the outside thought, but I like to know if the inside is not made like those houses with lots of wasted space and HUGE rooms and tiny bathrooms.

I'm annoyed with how the creator has 'interior example' as a caption on half the pictures, yet never actually.. shows the interior... or floor layout.
