It's really killing me everytime I see a new Newsea hair out, because they're all for the most part gorgeous. I know that it's unlikely for us to get any of them anytime soon, unless some magical person comes along and decides to throw some money at her...AND be generous after that. In all honesty if I still had more that 10 bucks on my credit card I'd buy atleast 3 of them.

Nice but for the bald patches... Even if it was worth the money, why would any creator want to put their name to work like that? I know it's difficult to make hair but others manage it and they manage not to have the cheek to charge for it either.

I think the blad spot are caused by the upper features of the model they use. for example, when using peggy's recent middle parted female ahirstyle, tehre would be a bald spot if I widened the head or raise the eyebrows. Its all about bone assignments with that particularly bald spot on newsea new hair.
The issue with Newsea hairs isn't that no one is willing to donate or share them, it's that Newsea has put a tracker in his files that is really hard to get out. Pescado is said to be working on a way to clean up the files, and once he gets it I'd be willing to be you see tons of Newsea hairs popping up for free download everywhere. The issue, for the most part, isn't that no one is willing to share-- it's that they have the hair but they aren't safe to share yet.

It's not that she doesn't want to share them, it's because there are trackers in them? Same for simscave aswell.. You should be patient and wait. Oh and antonella has some problems with her computer so she can't share her things right now.

As far as payfiles go, there have been some torrents up at GOS with recent TSR stuff, but I don't think they include January
Newsea is a different case, however, since they put trackers in their files and share private subscriber info at the drop of a hat. Once Pescado finishes his tool I'm sure the hairs will be shared faster. Either way, I can wait, since it's hardly worth somebody risking their private info over.
If I actually had extra money I would buy Newsea hairs. They're a good balance of realism and some over the topishness that can fit many sim players since some players like more cartoonish or fantasy sims while others strive for more realistic sims
It really drives me crazy how people expect admins at Sims Cave to pay for the files and share them with everyone else. Why's the responsibility to pay always on them? Someone else could chip in and help pay. If I wanted any of Newsea's crap, I would do the same thing.

What the hell is it with all these people walking around without a natural part line in their hair? Do you shave your head, brush all your hair forward, or avoid brushing altogether?
The people that are including the part line in the hair are doing it because that is what any normal hair style would look like! That statement of course excludes the mohawk and other such styles where a part is not possible. The hair that some creators have made without a part looks absolutely horrid & I would never use it!
No matter how many times people have explained to you that they aren't bald spots you still act ignorant about the subject. That is probably because some of you lack the ability to read any post you didn't make!
Gotta agree witht he above Anon. It's obviously a messy hair, and I do think this one looks relatively realistic because of that fact. I really don't care enough to dwell on a slightly wide part/some parts of the head showing, and I'm saying that as /a picture taker/. So even not playing the game so much myself, I don't dwell on the little things. It's just not worth it.
That said, I can't wait for all these hairs to be up, I really cant. It's just sad that Newsea won't open his eyes and see how much people appreciate his work, and share on that basis. But money's money, I guess.

The previews do make the hairs look nice, but my Sims are very realistic and they tend to look great in NewSea hairs.
^^^ yeah, well people are greedy. I think if anything, EA should be like charging a fee to creators for being able to make money off of their creation ;). That'd stop alot of the pay sites.
