The general design of this is very cute! The texture could use just a little less contrast, at least by the screenshots. Sometimes it only looks like that because of the choices of highlights versus base, and I haven't tested it out myself >_> But I really do like the simple design of this! Going to give it a try and see how it looks in game :D
Gah, scratch that. I just noticed it's TSR and I need to log in to download it >_< Call me paranoid, but that's not going to happen unless the hair is super duper awesome sauce.
I will admit TSR has some nice stuff, but their hair, with the exception of a few (and I mean a FEW) is crappy. I wonder if it is not a coincidence that most quality hair is in a .package vs the sims3pack format. I prefer sims3pack and as a consequence, have very few CC hair in my game.
this is just awful, the shine on the hair goes on the curves, there are two shine bits on the fringe and fair enough with the top shine part but the rest is completely straight! it just doesnt make any sense. same with the pony. i hate it. its horrible.
Having (mistakenly) tried his other hair that looks just as greasy, I can confirm that it is the texture, not simply the highlights. Will definitely be passing on this.
ewww omg it looks sooo greasy. I will admit that i can't do any better, doubt i'd do much worse though. I would never ever even bother to upload something like this if i made it...it's awful. In fact i don't even bother to create cc because i know i suck at it.

ReplyDeleteI don't like the hair hanging over the face. It would look better if all the hair was pulled back with the pony tail.

ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, his other hair (which is on this level in terms of quality) is pay. I'm not sure why, but TSR's hairs are pretty terrible.

Texture is really bad. Really really bad. And I'm not that picky about textures. Yet I think this is horrible. Nuff said.
