Because it's redistributing other people's content without permission.
If i were you, i would look through the site to see if my content has been stolen. I'm sorry for telling you all this way, but maybe this way you will notice it earlier! D:
They have several sets from simcontrol (which are free already) and do not have permission from them, for example. I hope that site gets closed with time.
To anon above claric...I looked at the site and it looks like they are doing the same thing as ms3b or myself even...just posting creations. It seems as if they are giving credit to the actual makers. I didn't check the whole entire site...just skimmed through...but that's what I got from it.
They post direct download links to make it easier for those non english speakers. They are not claiming credit or stealing anything. And they also share paying stuff.
That site does post a direct link to the original site. They do give credit and as the Anon above said, it allows non-english users to have a easy download. Same we do here and other sites that are foreign.
I do appreciate the pay stuff they share, also giving credit and original links. TSR had them shut down a little while ago, I guess they are back up.
@B...I got a little nervous...I put direct links to the items as well as a link to the site. I thought for a minute I was doing something wrong! Whew! I'm okay now! *giggles*
Very...purple. XD The detail level looks good. For some reason it makes me thing of the Flintstones. I really like the wall lamps (at least that's what I think they are...they might just be deco of some kind).
And as for the ZOMGSTOLENSTUFF... relax. SimsCave posts direct links to free content all the time, if that content originally comes from a site that English speakers might have a hard time navigating due to language barriers. It looks like this site does something similar for Russian speakers. If credit is given then they aren't really doing anything unethical, and they *certainly* aren't doing anything illegal.
