I had been hoping for pets, but I guess that will come next. This looks good, and I'll get it for sure. I'm worried about where exactly the workplaces for these new jobs will be, though... I don't like the prospects of having whole towns be obsolete or having to baleete families to add several new rabbitholes.

Is there anything you people DON'T complain about? Whine whine whine "I wanted pets, I wanted seasons, I wanted this and that blah blah blah." Ever heard of the term patience is a virtue? Obviously not.
ReplyDeleteThis EP is gonna be great and I'm actually excited to get this one. I wasn't too excited about World Adventures, but I think this EP will improve the total game experience. WA was fun for five minutes, then got old.

To clarify, what I meant was that World Adventures, in my opinion (and many others from what I read) got repetitive after a while, and the tombs not resetting didn't help. WA was more like an add on; Something we won't use all the time in the game. I think Ambitions will be something we can all use in our games all the time.

I was not interested in control of my sims at work, but after reading the Gamestop Q and A, this EP sounds interesting.

ReplyDelete3 syllables: Fi-na-lly!! this should have been in the sims 3 all along, those rabbit holes sorta killed the point of having an open world, besides visiting neighbors etc, IMO. hopefully, we can go into stores,restaurants (and the theater?) like in nightlife *crosses fingers* :)

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, there's no indication of that, and it definitely seems like something EA would advertise.
I'm not sure if they'll ever incorporate it or not. They SHOULD, but it would be fairly demanding on people's computers, and there are already people trying to play the game on a 3 year old computer who then complain because it doesn't look as good as the adverisements.
