I've been looking all day long for this hair @ the exchange, but couldn't find it. When someone sees it, i'll extract it. Cute hair anwyays! I like it!

For those with launcher troubles and TSR hair-needs, just check the exchange for sims with the hair. TSR hair seems to come with the sims you download. The file will probably be large. Because it's got the hair and (usually) really ugly clothing. So immediately after installing the sim, do not start the game, do not close the launcher. Go to the installed content tab. At the top should be all of the new stuff that just got installed with the sim (if you didn't close the launcher after installing the sim. Otherwise you'll have to pick through the list). Simply uninstall all the crap that you don't want and the hair should be in the list of stuff you did want :)
I wish the bangs blended into the rest of the hair, instead of leaving that big gap of nothingness there. Bleghhh. I wonder if there's a way to just get the headband.

If you're having Launcher problems, then follow Calico's advice or use Delphy's Multi-Pack Extractor. Whenever I download a set that has a ton of .sims3packs or I just have a problem installing one specific .sim3pack with the Launcher, I open up Delphy's tool and it extracts the .package file from it.
Wait until Jordy uploads it like he did other Newsea hairs that he got on the Exchange. He's generally fast about it, but waiting an hour or so (or more) isn't going to hurt.
If someone would do us the immense favor of uploading just the hairs, I would be oh so grateful. My internet connection sucks and 30mb would take forever. ;-;
I remember i tried to do that before when I didn't know about booty sites (sigh, I've come a long way) but it didn't work. I think they were peggy hairs I was trying to steal since those were the only hairs I knew
I don't know why people are so tickled and happy about this hair or the bow! That bow goes around the back of the hair! It looks like a 4 year old put it on because it's on the outside not under the hair. Maybe it was overlooked because of the initial look of the bow is rather cute. Sucks that it isn't just the bow without the thin line around the back of the head that is attached to the bow!
There's a way to download things from the exchange without your game registration or any kind of codes etc.) But not from the store, of course. If you're interested - just tell me here and I'll share the info with you. And great thanks to Jordy for the working packages!

did you re texture this? because i think it needs a retexture, bad. it seems a little darker when worn as pale blonde. dont feel bad, i was just asking.
This is actually kinda cute. And I like the bow too. I can see it working well with other hair styles.

ReplyDeleteYou can easily extract the .package from the .sims3pack. A post was made above with the link to Delphy's extracter.

WOOOO no. I have plans for retexturing it & fix it, but no, this are newsea's textures.
