Same here. Recolors are nice to have, but hell, come on.
Not to mention Simlish, apart from being in line with the REST of the game, is universal. All versions of the game have the same simlish- putting it in english means any non-english player has double the issue. It's not simlish and it isn't their language either. :|

English looks stupid and out of place in this game. As Claeric said, 1. not everyone speaks English and 2. Simlish is the universal language for the Sims.

English doesn't look stupid and out of place to me. I speak it. I realize the Sims don't, but I do and in the end I'm the one appreciating signs and posters in the game, not them.
Hence why I suggested offering a Simlish version, for those that want everything Simlish or those that don't speak English, and English for those of us that like that.

Whenever I created signage in TS2 for my own use, I always used English, and I would often recolor cc I found with a ton of Simlish to match. To each their own game. My disappointment with these is that they are the same object meshes, just recolors. We already have two color variations of these rabbit holes between the original and Riverview versions.
These look well done, just don't appeal to me in their current shapes. -- Zazazu
I downloaded the other coloured version of the rabbitholes and it kept crashing my game - no matter what I did. Everything was fine when I took them out. So I'm hesitant about any rabbitholes now - English or not.
I, for one, am not native-English but prefer English to Simlish cause I want my game to look as much realistic as I can. So don't prejudge people with different tastes and styles. It's not nice.
I love City Hall and I DL all.rar already.

I think they should put things in Simlish. It doesn't bother me on really obvious stuff like movie posters, because the people using them probably wanted it in English anyway, but general Sim stuff works so much better in Simlish, like with the road sign yesterday. Putting it in a human language is far to specific for a general item.
Ugh to me, the big GROCERY in English ruined it for me.
