Don't download at TSR! They are a bunch of thieves and greedy liars, hacking other peoples accounts and not encrypting user information - that's why you shouldn't give them your credit card information...
And seriously: you don't have to pay for this shit, there are many ways to get those items for free on the internet. TSR is violating the EULA, file sharing isn't.
While I agree the repetiveness is a little old, you'd be surprised at the number of people who willingly give up their credit card number and other personal info to TSR. Very bad idea.
I don't really hate paysites. If the quality is good, I would pay. It's the fact that TSR lies, steals and gives out peoples personal information. I find that to be wrong. Even if TSR came out with the best stuff I'd ever seen and it was free, I wouldn't download from there.

You're right. They used their psychic powers to acquire personal info about subscribers, because it's not like there are screenshots of this kind of info being shared in TSR's forum or anything.
^ DO NOT DOWNLOAD. It's exactly the same thing except, the person zipped it himself. So therefore, there are still viruses. I myself have experienced FREE downloads from TSR that had some virus. Luckily, it was handeled!

Unfortunately, people are stupid about sites they trust. I believe TSR even had a post up at one point (no idea if it's still up) about disabling ad-blocking software in order for the site to "work properly".
I'm the one that posted the link, there are no viruses. You people are ridiculous. I've been downloading since the sims 1 from there and never ever had a problem.

Like many others, I received one from their ads before I quit going there completely. The 3rd party ads at TSR are on a rotating basis, meaning that you may or may not load a "dangerous" ad.
As per viruses in the files, I have no idea. Clearly, however, TSR is not concerned about malware getting on their customers' computers.
