That's been there from the beginning - it's part of the SpeedTree spec. Animated hair on the other hand is noticeably absent from TS3. It's almost as if the developers looked at TS1 for inspiration.
O.K., So for a minute I though Newsea was really beginning to step up with his do's, but the last fews hair were mediocre at best. I passed on them, and this is just sad that he's recycling hairstyles like this Lydia remake with odd wind effect. What's wrong Newsea! Are you having TSR creator's block or something. If you are low on ideas surf the web. Tons of celeb hairstyles are just waiting to be immortalized by a Sims hair guru such as yourself! Rihanna, Beyonce, Pink, heck even Miley's gotta funky new look going on these days. Selena Gomez wears her hair in a really cute style. Whomever, gets you blood flowing. This is TSR we're talking about here. Featured "Artists" have to churn out a minumum number of "creations" (lol) each month, otherwise they are stripped of their FA status, and the cash it brings with it, and well, we all know how much the FA's would sell their souls for a little cash.
This is why you see a lot of samey paycrap on the site. Far easier to churn out than new creations.
I hate how they keep doing hairs with that stupid floating syndrome. We know that fat morphs can be done, making hair like this when the 3rd expansion is almost out is RIDICULOUS.
just spent 10 minutes and found these lovely hairstyles by Selena. Can anyone send them to NewSea? He is taking hairstyles advices. I think the braid is really cute!
but making something that looks like another hair, making it float above the back and naming it Carolin (Newsea's english fails) Isn't very hard at all.

I love Newsea hair, but even I could tell the moment I saw this one that it looks almost exactly the same as one of the previous. While the original was one of my favorites, it's still just fail in general.
Not everyone has the same opinion as you, Anon. There's always bound to be someone who would like to try out a hair no matter how fugly it is, so don't judge bro. Oh, and it's time you start expecting shit from NewSea because, well, as you can see from the past few, they're all either fucked up or 'slightly edited' versions of already existing hair.
That aside, i haven't downloaded those already existing hairs, so i'd like to give this one a try.
