Slider Hack (Updated Patch v1.18.9) by aWT

This means, if you have another CORE mod like Awesomemod it will not work due to a conflict with UI.DLL.

Features:

* Increase the default range between Minimum and Maximum of the Fat/Muscle sliders;
* Increase the default range between Minimum and Maximum of other sliders;
* Increase the number of sliders available;

  1. Thank you.

    I have a question, though. With the range between the fat/muscle sliders increased, does this mean that random Sims will be spawned using those ranges (freakishly slim, freakishly muscular, freakishly fat)?

    With the slider hack for the last patch, I noticed that when I hit the randomize button, there were Sims whose hands started to shake, and I remember Jonha saying that this was a sign of sliders on extreme ranges, however, they were created completely randomly.

    Is it possible to just make a slider hack that only increases the range by 3 instead of the default four that you have? I have seen most people who use Awesomemod have theirs set to three times the original.

    Or even better, would it be possible for you to make it like Awesomemod or EGC where you can choose the multiplier?

  3. Well, this mod is quite simple once I disassemble the dll I just need to change few variables and compile back.
    I have to thank Visual Studio for that.
    Hence why it's easy and faster to update.

    Other core mods are more complex and need more attention into the code itself.

    First anon, it's possible that the randomize feature carry the slider range within it, along with new born sims. Since it changes its default.
    If most people doesn't go THAT extreme (x4) with sliders I can reduce that amount.

  4. Forgot to login. :P

    I was thinking on recreating this mod, but making it dynamical, by overriding the core functions while ingame.
    But I'm currently caught up with other tools and projects and might need to take a browse into making this later.

    As for the fart comment, I don't think I do dear Anon!

    Ok, gotta go sleep~
    Good Night/Day everyone~

    You mean like Twallan's Master Controller? If so, please don't go that route. I like that it's universal for any and all games you create, and I'd rather not have to change the settings for each game I have.

    I also like being able to go directly into CAS and create sims using the sliders. With the in-game option that Master Controller has, you can only use the sliders once you're in-game and not in original CAS, which is very limiting because you have to create a Sim halfway, then start up a game, change the options and then use the edit in CAS function to finish them.

  6. Wow! Very fast!! Thanks bunches! Since it doesn't seem as if Res is going to update the slider to show more skins (non default) are you able to make one? And if so... will you make one?

  9. Ok I squealed when I saw that someone had made a skin thing...but dropped when I saw not updated. I wonder if it will still work with the new update? Anyone know? Thanks also for the link!! <3

  10. IT is updated now, glad someone else is making this, seems like rez left the mod alone and don't even take time to say he would.

  11. Wasn't necessary to update Anach mod to last patch.
    You might get a message of old mod, but it works just fine since this last update didn't updated the CASBasics Layout.

    As for updating this mod, I might continue making this way unless I find a better option.
    Was thinking on actually creating a executable that takes care of doing this mod.
    So I would not have to update this everytime a patch comes out.
    But would be a bit complex to implement such thing.
