All the eyebrows I have for males either look like catipillars exploded on their faces, or two scrawny lines where their eyebrows should be. I have no idea where to find any good eyebrows for males.
Anyway, this dude is no exception. All I see is an eyebrow which takes up way too much visual space.
Dunno who this person is but it's refreshing to see a sim that not artificially perfect like so many I've seen. He's different without being extremely ugly. Good Job!

Anon1: I agree it's hard to find good male brows... I had these made especially for him by Arisuka, as none of the brows I had worked quite right (I have at least a hundred brows!) and I'm unable to edit DDSes properly at the moment myself. The real John K. has quite thick brows, so putting anything other than thick brows on the sim didn't make much sense. ;)

But...it's a celeb Sim. Based on a real person. If you have an issue with the size of the brows, isn't that something you should take up with the real person rather than someone trying to make a representation of him?

The brows don't look much like his to me, but not because of the size. His brows are super bushy. But they also look like they taper in a very distinctive way that these don't, at least in the images I looked at.
BTW it's a piddly little issue IMO, since the brows are fairly similar. The resemblence is strong enough that I knew who it was immediately, and that's a good sign. Nice work, HP!

I think he's really nice. Quite a nice resemblance. (And I think the real thing is pretty cute, too...I guess part of that might be his adorable personality, but I don't think he's bad looking either).

ReplyDelete@1st anon: There's a slider that modifies the eyebrow thickness. But even if you don't like it, real people have thick eyebrows too.
