Not so happy with how the liner looks in CAS. There's some random one I picked up on netshow that's more subtle. At first I thought the creators were the same because they released nearly identical eyebrows, but the ones from netshow are thicker.
I honestly don't know how any of you can not tell what gender this sim is. This game has been out for almost two years, have you not gotten used to the facial structures of the female and males sims in The Sims 3 yet? It was very obvious to me that this was a male, if you thought otherwise, I seriously have to question your entire thought processes. If anyone wants to come at me about this then so be it but let me warn you, I'm a sharp one.
Anon: With this sim it isn't /that/ hard to tell, but for a few others it seriously is. Search for 'Moist eyes' .. the download was for male sims, but the male looked so girly I did a double take, and I can usually tell very easily.
These aren't Epherma's eyes, btw. That file only included the whites overlay, not the actual eyes. And the whites on these eyes don't have the same look as those whites (Epherma's weren't as white).
But whatever eyes they are, they don't match the overlay under the eye. You can see the outline from the image of the eye on the overlay under the eye.
Anyway, as for the stuff. It's pretty nice. I might get the eyebrows... I need to start downloading some more.
I can usually tell gender pretty well for sims but I honestly wasn't sure whether this sim was male or female until the last picture. Very androgynous, I love it. The lashes also look natural for once.
The underlay of the eyes are what makes them nice. Default and contacts mixed, if they have different sizes, you can create new looking eyes, as shown in the pictures.
^^ They make the eyes look weird to me, really... There are two outlines of the eye and only one side. Sort of creepy to me.
As for what they are, if they were darker, it might be easier to tell what eyes they are. But they're so light you can't see the texture too well. Or maybe they're eyes we've never seen here on this blog and we couldn't tell anyway.
I'm looking at random contacts, and I do have some that look a lot like this, but they have a darker rim, and different shine (in CAS at least)... but they also look a lot like the Gary contacts. The can't be those though because those have their own whites. The other 'suspect' contacts don't have a rim.
Also tested it ingame and it's looks not as i desired it. In the the picture it looks perfect, hands down, but i guess the creator also uses a special skintone which works well together with them, or they simply look better on males. Test it by yourself, they are worth a download.
Still i would be very grateful if someone could ask the creator, which eyes he uses. They look like perfect elf eyes.

unless you meant the older definition of gay, in which case, yes, these make me very happy.
Guys usually have longer lashes than girls, so... it isn't 'gay'.
