^I think that is the result of uncompressed DDS images. This can be solved by selecting all the IMG tag files in s3pe and then choosing to compress them.
I noticed this with Shyne's lovely contacts from the other day. The .sims3pack verson was only 208 KB because TSRW automatically compresses files. However, her .package version was 8,344 MB.

As for these eyes... They aren't that bad, but it's hard to tell what they look like unless you go to the MTS thread and look at the animation with screens that show the eyes from the front instead of at an angle. Angle shots don't really show off eyes that well.

Is it normal and okay for the file size to be 5,666 KB? The current default eyes I use are only 12 KB. Thank you for any answers.

Says you? Sure. A compliment isn't "sucking up" FFS. It might be helpful to you to know the difference.

I just tested these eyes in my game and as pretty as they may be, they make the Sims look cross-eyed. :( Too bad
