I had a bracelet that clamped similarly to this. It was onyx, with a purple quartz in the centre. The claps got snagged on fabric, opened, the magnet undid and it fell to the ground and broke.
I've always been turned off by this style since. That said, it is very well made, and so pretty.
I can't tell though. Is this a tight Byzantine or is it that twisted Herringbone whose name I forgot.
