The first thing I notice about every single eyebrow that has ever been made for sims 3, is that the eyebrow wing arches down to meet the outer corner of the eye.
Most real eyebrows extend past the outer corner of the eye. Look in the mirror and hold a pencil straight up (right in front of the outer corner of the eye), if you don't believe me.
No4 is not awesome. Look at the breaks in the texture that happen when the arch is adjusted. That is not realistic unless you have done a really horrific job with your tweezers.

Uh, I think that is exactly why the poster above likes it. I've seen people do this in real life, also...it's not all that unrealistic.
^I don't know whether it was done intentionally or is the fault of the creator. I noticed this on one of the eyebrows that MissBonbon had converted...the gap didn't even show up in both pictures shown. That indicated that it was a problem with the texture when the eyebrows were adjusted.
YAY! These eyebrows look quite useful...except for the fourth one...What's this? What's happening? What's going on there?

Anyway, that is one of the reasons why the faces always look so freaking wierd. The eyebrows are out of purportion.

ReplyDeleteI know for sure that the fourth eyebrow is an urban style. It was meant to be that way, as well as Missbonbon's eyebrow.
ReplyDeleteThat style is outdated, or at least I thought it was. Haven't seen it used since the 90s to early 2000.
Yes, I remember seeing people wearing eyebrows with gaps back then. I don't know if some people still do it now.

I really like the first set and the second is not bad either.
