  1. I hope we'll have memories back in Generations, I miss those.

  2. I hope it has college, like real college with classes and stuff, not just pranks and dorms.

  3. I mean it looks like the schools are interactive, I think if this is true I will start creating sims in kids to teens because I find their gameplay very boring. idk.

  4. It's the Swedish cover art, not Norwegian. ;)

  5. Afros!

Hope the wedding veil is an accessory.

Bouncy toy out by the treehouse.

  6. This game will never top the sims 2. ::sigh::

  7. ^Then stop thinking of it as the new Sims 2, and think of it as the seperate game, Sims 3.

Memory system sounds very interesting, and I'm happy to see toddlers, children and teens getting more out of the game.

I really don't mind if there isn't any college myself. It would be nice, but unecessary. The classes around town are fine enough for now.

Though, the idea of a real school as opposed to a rabbithole is just...fantastic...I still hope it's true.

  8. I am so freaking excited for this. I also miss the memory system... It gave so much personality to the sims. But this looks really good.

  9. There is no college. Graduation =/necessarily= College. It's high school graduation.

Memories, I am hoping, are like achievements, rather than game-destroying worthless little stupid-ass boxes that added nothing to the game but gamebreaking destruction.

Also, this may be wishful thinking, but the wedding screenshot makes me think they gave hte game the rendering and CAS sliders of Medieval. That male sim looks very nice.

    THIS. SO MUCH THIS.
I enjoy the idea of memories, but my games in TS2 were so messed up because of memories. I also enjoy having my neighborhoods full of sims, so adding memories would create more leg. :I

  11. I would like zombies.

  12. It looks like a college graduation. In each section, it is focused on a different age group. The rabbit hole could be the government building.

  13. I don't know how I feel about this yet.
I did have a sim get married when I was playing a week ago and thought it was a little depressing that there was no wedding cake and no arch. It's something you only really miss once in an active household but when you're game's not running so smoothly you may have a few of those.
I liked memories from the sims 2 mostly because then if my game froze up I could remember who had shagged who since the last save. I know that sounds dumb but that's mostly what I'd used it for.
I honestly haven't played with kids hardly at all yet. Sometimes they're just a hassle. Seeing them in school would be cool I guess.

Overall though this doesn't look like something I want to fork $40 over for.

  16. ^ Lol. And you'll answer "A video game." It's not rocket science. Smh.

  17. If there is real weddings, I hope there will now be a real Church lot type, or "non-denomination religious facility", as will probably still be the case. One step closer to a priest job.

    And?

  19. To the anon that's oh so excited about school uniforms.

You could make that uniform now, they're all base game items, just patterned to look like uniforms.

White collared short sleeve shirt, knee-length skirt in plaid, black maryjane shoes and the white knee socks.

    TaDa!

I would like to have a priest, like in Medieval. But religion has never been introduced in TS3 and I think EA will never do it, even if it's a "non-denomination religious facility".

  21. The Sims 3: "What Should Have Been Base Game" Expansion Pack! Coming June 2011!

  22. The world is rapidly going down in flames. Introducing religion to the game might not be a bad thing imho.

    ReplyDelete
  23. WOOOOOOAAAAH ... Yay!!! This is just as great as the comeback of the Backstreet Boys!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'd actually love to see all sorts of religions in this game. Imagine how much more interest it would add to the game.

    ReplyDelete
  25. So long as the religions are extremely ridiculous, made-up, and won't cause any huge scandal for TS3 or EA, I wouldn't mind. But of course...EA doesn't have that kind of imagination, so it's best left to the Modders.

  26. ^ are you serios?!?!?!??!

  27. "I honestly haven't played with kids hardly at all yet. Sometimes they're just a hassle. Seeing them in school would be cool I guess."

Do you really think you'll see your sims at school? There is no schools on the images. I only see a few teens wearing the same clothes and doing activities in a room.. EA use to do these kind of things, to make their games more attractive

I had hoped University would be included. But EA is not really imaginative..And I'm agree, it seems to be only a EP with things which should have been included in the base game since the beginning.

Moreover, I don't like to read that rumors will break couples. This rumors system is painful since the previous EP, by destroying all our sim's relationships. WE HATE RUMORS, EA..

    ReplyDelete
  28. If they are going to include a religion, they would have to include not just one, but at least the 5 big religions in the world. But since we are our sims' "God" after all, I'd say no to religion in game.

Anyway, I always thought that the game lacked social interactions, so I'm glad to see we will get more. And I hope they include some between toddlers too. I'm also excited about the weddings, since they have been a little sad without a cake and the arch.

  29. "WE HATE RUMORS, EA."

    Don't generalize....

    ReplyDelete
  30. the sims is all about happy times! no need for religion!

    ReplyDelete
  31. no religions and politics please...keep that mess for real life.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Schools wont be interactive. Weddings will just be like birthdays were you have the cake and the other sims watch them cut it, thats it

    ReplyDelete
  33. The "School Uniforms" are just made up of clothes that are included in the base game

    ReplyDelete
  34. "WE HATE RUMORS, EA."

    Don't generalize...."

Sorry, but I can't imagine that somebody could like a system when only a false rumor can break all your family and friends's relationships.. relationships which are long and very difficult to build. Sims can lose 10 friends in the same time, so sorry to generalize, but I generalize..YES, WE HATE RUMORS, EA

  35. I can't believe this hasn't been said...

The Sims religion could be based around the Dali Llama.

    *gigglesnort*

    GO LLAMAS!

  36. I feel like people are never satisfied when it comes to sims games. I admit some of them aren't really "OMFG LOOK AT THAT" amazing but quit complaining soo much geesh. It's SIMS 3 not SIMS 2 and it's definitely better, even at this early stage in expansions. I personally think Generations looks fantastic, it it provides that real-life dynamic.

The Sims 3 is a 100x better and will keep improving :)

Can't wait till Generations is installed on my Desktop <3

  37. And yet another paypack to milk money from the sim community.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Is there any alternative to the sims (3)?

I really like the open neighborhood and that you can paint everything your style, but I am missing real creativity in the gameplay itself. I really like playing sims 3, but after a few minutes i get totally bored because there is not much to do anymore. So is there any alternative?

  40. Wondering how soon this new game with crash.

  41. I'm actually really looking forward to this one. I play children all the time, and we need more interactions for them. I hate how unrealistic it is right now between parents and children. They are like strangers.

    ReplyDelete
  42. If my calculations are correct all according to what should have been in base Game Expansion Pack. Then Swimming should be in here, amIrite?

  43. ^^^^ Shut down your comp and get the heck out?

As in outdoors... No bad intentions:).

  44. "^^^^ Shut down your comp and get the heck out?

That's rude, how can I possibly look over it after you write get out followed by
    "No bad intentions"?

Don't be so quick to jump to conclusions, focus on your life and not others.

Next time you type something up stay on topic.

  45. Sims 2 sucks. HORRIBLE graphics and the picture "system" sucks. You take a picture and they more than likely become a thumbnail that you have to search through different folders to find because there is no screenshot folder and if you made one it would likely not work anyway. I love my screenshots. And then there's the lack of an open world. The single thing that is better is the gameplay.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I am really really really looking forward to this expansion pack. I like to play families so this ep should add alot to my gameplay experience :) So excited!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. I saw someone on here comment about the memory system, is that really coming back because that would be awesome! :3
From the pictures generations looks like family fun stuff expanded.
I'm pretty sure the school pictures are just Machima, EA does that. Which is okay by me but it does imply things about the game that aren't real.
