Gloves Be Gone! Mod by Buckley
This morning, I wanted to create an outerwear outfit without gloves for one of my Sims, but no matter how many times I took those ugly things off the game kept putting them back on. And not only that, but they were always the worst, most mismatched ones in the catalog, and once she even spawned with a random CC pose accessory in her hand. o.O
So I created this tuning mod. It sets the kChanceRandomGenOuterwearHasWinterGloves value to 0. This fixes the problem with your active Sims randomly appearing in gloves (even after you've removed them countless times…), but it also means that townies won’t spawn wearing gloves with their outerwear outfits either. This could be considered a good thing or a bad thing depending on your play style and the climate in your world, but I personally think it’s a tradeoff worth making.
