^I don't think that was trolling at all. Greek vases or pottery normally have warriors, gods, people or other creatures painted on them, not those patterns.
There are also geometric vases, but they don't look like that either.
^ Greek patterns make the pottery easily identifiable as "greek" style. Not everyone is fluent in the art of knowing what is what, so the dodgy, cookie-cutter way the creator designed these is understandable.
I am half Greek. The pattern is the "Greek Key" and was mostly used as a border/trim in ancient Greece. Since it doesn't say "Ancient Greek Pottery", you can use them for modern Greek replicas. I've seen a lot of replicas that overuse the key pattern.
I'm happy someone else mentioned the fact that the pattern on this is the Greek Key. I do love this pattern, and this pottery is gorgeous. I'm definitely downloading it all.
Actually, I might spread this pottery around The "Egypt" world. I think it'd look rather pretty in that setting.
