Anto - CoolSims 50 by Savio

Savio has added another conversion, you can download it at his blog. Read what he has to say and download it if you must have it.

File name: Anto-CS 50_Savio-1.0

Savio was concerned about the high poly count and crashing issues. After letting my game run three Sim days, with both below wearing this hair, no crashes, no slowing down my game - so it's perfectly fine for me.

Btw, when you test it, tell me if its bone assigments are good, or it need to be improved. ;D (this is the worst step to me for some hairs :x)

  2. 30.000 Vertises???

I can run Fallout 3 and Oblivion at acceptable frames in outdoors but with such a count I even fear trying it.

  3. 30.000 with undersides. :) But if your PC cant handle hp hairs, it may use the lod1, that is 15kpoly.

  7. It's just a recolor of one of the game skirts. I uploaded the recolor if you want it.

Where is the line? I didn't see it.

  8. all right screenshots of "the line", its on the right side in this sreenshot and it sort of looks like a hair strand gone wrong, it cuts into her thigh but then it continues a bit

    and
    http://img33.imageshack.us/i/screenshot64w.jpg/

you can see it in both screen shots

and i also tested it in CAS and you cant see it in there which i find interesting, a lot of hairs look better in CAS but when you play the game they show up differently.

    this is my CAS shot:

hope this can help out in improving the hair if savio decides to improve it, otherwise i love it.

  9. It's not actually a Line.
It's more like a part of the hair that went wrong with the meshing.
I wonder If someone else has seen that "line".

  10. Thanks for the pattern link!

  11. I have had those problems with some hairs.. But it wasns issues with the mesh. This happened after trying to improve my videocard using the ATi tray tools.

I dont have any idea how I can fix it... I havent done anyhting on the mesh: just scale and adjust to fit. (I also removed the crown, but dont think this may be the reason)

Just looked at the mesh to see if the assigments are good, and they looks great.

Sorry, I really dont know why this is happening. :/ (btw, please, if someone experiences this same problem, lemme know!)

    The results will come soon.

  13. Verdict: Looks perfect in game, it doesn't crash & there's no strange "line". I guess it's a video card issue.
    Update your drivers guys!

    Have fun!

  16. the minimum requirements are

  17. Ah, you may experience this when you running the game on a laptop.. Commonly their video cards are pretty bad, since many laptops arent ready to run those games.

  18. Could it be the sunglasses you added on your sims that's causing that? If you remove them is that 'line' still here?

  19. I'm getting that line too. i have a desktop. i'll try updating my drivers, but they're not that old.
