  5. I made it into a .package file if anyone would like it. It's been decrapified and s3rc'd also.

  6. I tested the link the anon posted, it indeed seems to be the TV. Haven't checked it in game but FireFox scanned it for viruses and it indeed seems to be the real deal. (for any of you skeptics who don't like following links posted by anons)
THANK YOU for posting the link, anon. I dislike TSR.

  7. ^I could make an account and post a link and for me it would still be suspicious. Sounded like anons are waiting for any chance to infect your comp.

While paranoia on the internet is not generally a bad thing, I tested it as well, for what it's worth. Came up clean.

And, ironically enough, TSR has a history of infecting people's computers thanks to their spyware-ridden-ads. (Another reason for adblock!) So nothing is ever 100% safe on the internet.

i think most of us ANONS who share links do it out of genuine sincerity. And we dont all remain anon so we can bully others, we all have our reasons. all though the bullying is kind of funny sometimes....not all the time, i like putting assholes in their place most of the time. no fun doing that if you know my name now ;-)

  11. I admit I will post Anonymous when posting mediafire links for objects when another person ask for it, have an account with the website its uploaded to, and if it hasn't already been posted.

I'm thankful to the person who posted a clean copy of the tv. I dont have a problem with Sim3packs or package files but I simple don't trust anything from the TSR that hasn't been cleaned or checked. I learned quite a while back what kind of nasty you can get from there.

anyways over all I think this an okay object but I wonder how well it recolors.

  13. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE PACKAGE VERSION.

Total events in Process monitor: THREE MILLION TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND. It will destroy your game playing funtimes by slowing the game like mad.

In 10 minutes of gameplay, it was loaded 3,200,000 times, 98% of the game's attempts to load a file. Meanwhile the game ran horrifically.

    Bluh.

  17. I posted the link to the package file. It's working on my pc and it's not slowing anything. So you doing it wrong. :)

  18. It's impossible to do it wrong. You put it in the fucking folder.

A package that the game tries to load millions of times is the fault of the package and whoever did a shit job of making it.

  19. How about this....THEN DON'T USE IT! Let it the fuck go. No one said you had to use it. Thanks for your input now move on to complaining about something else...as you are known to do on this site.

  20. (I know this post is two years old but I cam across this looking for this TV.)

Don't decrapify TSR shit. It somehow gets corrupted and leads to the game reading it a million times, as seen in Process Monitor. Most times just extracting it (to a package) without decrapifying/S3RCing it will work, sometimes you have to actually install it as a Sims3pack. There's no reason to decrapify non-Store items anyway.
