The idea is cute, but in some of them, the fact that nothing is really inside the jars and the texture is just a photoskinned real pic of the contents is really obvious...
Also, I know that previous things of MK had that doll...so be careful.
"The reflections are off or non-existent, meaning that these don't look like glass jars at all."
They aren't glass jars. They are photoskinned pictures of canned goods that have been slapped onto some jars...as Lisa Marie said, the photoskinning looks very weird and IMO, bad if you have good graphics.
I have good graphics, probably better than most of those commenting and I still would use these probably. Lol. Its a video game, not that serious to me.
Cool stuff.
ReplyDeletethis goes great in my log cabin im building
ReplyDeleteCute! I love kitchen clutter.
ReplyDeleteOh I love this!...this would go great for a country home! Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute :-)

The photoskinning looks weird if you have good graphics. The jars look lumpy. I like the premise but not sure the result was awesome.

^And I do and you're right. Too bad too because it would otherwise have been great clutter.
ReplyDeleteI must agree. Sadly, this would actually work if it was a bit cartoony than real. Would have made great cabinet decor for my cooking sims.
ReplyDeleteEven in those photos some of them look really weird to me. =/ More proof that photo skinning is evil.

ReplyDeleteAnd you are able to come to that conclusion, how? You can magically gauge the income and computer specs of each and all these posters?
Miss Cleo would LOVE you.
Yeah, it is a video game. But I don't want to be nauseated by whatever objects I download. If something looks odd, then I don't want to see it. :D
ReplyDeleteI do have great graphics in my game. That is why I am picky on what I download.
The jars are cute, but the photoshopped insides look weird.
ReplyDeleteAnd who the hell puts watermelon in a jar??
No acceptable download option on the MK site.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to dream in my trailer park.
ReplyDeleteThey looks good in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteYeah since I've upgraded to a new computer I really notice that damn photoskinned thing. These just look too fake for me.
ReplyDelete^ Very true awwboo... I have stellar graphics and photoskinning tends to look very bad imho. I know some like it, just not me.
ReplyDeleteI have great graphics and these jars don't look right in my game. Too bad, I would have liked some cute jars in my game.
ReplyDeleteCute idea, but the photoshop of produce looks unrealistic.
ReplyDeleteI downloaded these and they are just too big. They need to be smaller. They would go great in my country kitchen if they were smaller.
