I second the "how big" question. My games been being a bitch recently, and as gorgeous as this world is, if it's too big, I have a feeling I'd be unable to enjoy it.
I haven't tried it myself because it's not my style, but another simmer who installed it said it was pretty big and that it lagged. So if your computer can't handle big worlds, I guess this is not for you.
I played this world almoast all day. It's pretty big world and lagged but houses are separated from downtown so it's playable and most house has a awesome view! And swimming pool. it has wave pool so awesome!

Fucking funny!! This world has a Landmark Tomb that is main building of castle. i've been there....... I can't tell you what i found.....fuck.... just don't go basement!!!! And this world not going to too much lag for you. i was ok except several places.
EA doesn't hold a candle to this. With all their resources they give us that Moon Lake thing and this creater gives up this for free? This is one time where you can get something for nothing,but, it would be worth money if asked for.
Um yeah I played with this world for a few minutes, but first of all, it doesn't come populated, secondly he has these lots that have stairs that lead to NOTHING....And thirdly was I supposed to NOT play with Twallan's SP because it's a midievel town that has regular style sims...So what's the big hoopla again? This world IS NOT better than Lunar Lakes...seriously? It's phenomenal for it's genre if you add at least 4 gigs of midieval cc, if you think this world will come prepared or at least with some sign posts on what to do, you'll be sadly mistaken. Setra is FREE and wayyyyy better...So that's my opinion.

If all buldings has full interiored it makes full of lag but this world not. And this world not populated but If you playing several time you will find most houses are filled with workers because of this world has many jobs. if this world populated that makes more lag because of populated sims do nothing with required work! Just playing more than an hour!

You guys are funny....What the hell is this? Why are you hyping this world up? It's okay, but it's not fabulous omigod have to download immediately. I'm still trying to figure out how to play it... You can't play this world Sims style. As in buy a house and build up to living in a castle status. Because most of the careers DO NOT come with it. Also are there any spawners? And if so, why would there be to be honest, there is nothing to do in this world but look at it. It's beautiful, but this is one of those OH WOW it's gorgeous type of worlds that are completely unplayable. I'm not talking about system specs either, I'm talking about, HOW THE FUCK DO YOU PLAY IT? ^^^ Welcome to the Sims series. Doing your OWN thing. Jeez, this world is perfect for storytelling and it looks the creators main objective was to make the world resemble Mont Saint Michel. That was achieved. I've spent a good few hours playing it and if you're too daft to use Edit Town, that's your problem, move on, don't complain like a child

It lags because it's not built correctly that's why...And you have a bunch of idiot tweens who don't know the difference. This is NOT a player's world. This is a world for people who create machinima, or who do story telling. If you want to PLAY this world, you won't beable too..Not because of lag, my computer can run this world (although it is skipping)but because it's something I THINK that was created for the creator to use for story telling...SO if that's what you need it for great, if not, you won't like it.

It's good for more than story-telling. If you're a builder/decorator, it's pretty much the best thing ever. So much empty space to decorate, both in buildings and outside. Would look lovely with some custom Pets lots, I think.
Personally, I also think it's just as pretty up close as it is from a distance. The architecture is stunning. And it's about as medieval as WA's France. Which is to say, it has history in its architecture (TOMBS, yay! :D), but the Sims that show up are going to be regular old EA Sims in regular old default clothing.
I think this probably works best as a vacation world, if your main way of playing the game is living out the Sims lives (as opposed to just making pretty things, which is what I tend to do, personally XD). I think there's a mod out there that lets you use custom worlds as vacation worlds, maybe Twallan's Traveler? Not certain.
Yep, just to say that after playing this after a couple of months, it just gets better and better. I've added a couple of 64x64 castles, changed the town hall for a better one, and generally made it a bit prettier. It was already a looker, no doubt about that. But it does give the builder scope to expand on what is already there. That's one of its strongest assets.
And to those who say it lags, I say upgrade your computer. It runs lovely on my 4GB setup, so it is not a fault of the hood itself. And just for storytelling? Pfft. This comment proves its beauty. And that there is no ready-made population or rabbit hole careers? You should be capable enough to fill the hood with random sims. And of course there is no EAxian rabbit-holes because that would have killed the majesty of the town. A huge sports stadium does not suit this type of area. You place rugs down and your problem is solved. I really don't see what else you can say to critisize it.

I was expecting it to be a small world.. but it's actually pretty huge. Bummer.
