Nextor, I want to thank you from the depths of my soul man, for converting Afrocentric hairs. It like fills my heart with joy that I can finally make Sims that don't have the same style ever other Sim has. Mucho gracias.
what's up w/ all the rules for downloading an item someone decided to make and share??? why do they always say something about tsr or the exchange? why not tsr or the exchange? and what is it someone (like myself) would do at tsr or the exchange that has to do w/ this hair? can someone explain this to me?
I love this!!! Thank you so very much!! I'd had started using hats and caps because of the limitations of ethnic hair!!! I'm still sporting the afro puffs and I had a sim featured here that had your afro on! Thanks bunches!!! I'll be checking back here off and on today looking for that link! :-)
@Kneal..its just that creators feel that NO CC should be pay. In the rules of EA or Sims policy forgot wich one, but People like peggy/tsr/rose and liana, who have some pay items, well they arent suppose to do that. If you make CC it should be free to all. Thats why they say no Tsr and such. Personally I feel as if it is right. Thats why their is MATY & PSMBD and such. But i mean if u do download and put it as pay, i guess thats like taking advangtage of the artist work for $$ i guess. Idk but no CC should ask for $$
TSR has some weird rules that make item creators very scared to share their stuff on it. Besides, many don't want to see their stuff on a site that offers pay items and may or may not be passing viruses along due to the ads or whatnot.
As for the TSR/exchange thing...well, I've never entirely understood why people are so anti-exchange (other than the fact that 99.9% of the stuff there is crap) but TSR is a notorious paysite. One of the major problems with sharing other people's free items on TSR is that it opens the doors for the item (such as a hair) to be used on a pay Sim, thus making the hair pay, too. Free creators just want their stuff to remain free.
Why are so many people so averse to registering at forums? Just set up a specific email address designed just for forum membership only. Then you can register at as many places as you want and you don't have to worry about getting spammed. I'm registered at dozens upon dozens of sims sites and I don't get spammed anyway, but its an easy workaround if that worries you.
And if people don't want to register just because, then stop being so damn lazy. ;)
Awesome! Been looking forward to this one since it was previewed, always looking for more dread styles in my game. Looks great, and a nice variant to the headband version.
Ok...got it downloaded, made a handsome Sim male and this hair rocks!!! It looks great from all angles and I love how it sits on the Sims head! I'm a happy camper right now!!! Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
I agree with the poster above about registration on these sites. It's hardly a big deal and it's a small price to pay if you want quality CC for free. Whiners.
Anyway, I think this sim is fantastic. I am not normally into other people's Sims, preferring to make them myself but this one is great. It's not over the top, it's not "pretty", it's not completely unrealistic. Awesome. Love it!
This Looks good! YAY!
