Oh the greed of this site owner is disgusting!! The blog they use is a free one, there is no need for Donation items. If anything its a support me because I am a lazy ass and don't want to work site. The Chinese donors also get the hair for less than anyone else, hmm discrimination much Newsea??
^^not that im greedy but how come it takes a really long time for them to get newsea at SC? does she keep tabs on them or something? lol i dnt see what ppl mean about the anti gravity shiz but what I wanna know is WHERE did she get that red tank thats on her sim female?!! its really cute lol if anyone knows id love to know thanks
Newsea tracks their donation hairs, and if someone shares they will know who it is. That is why it is best to wait for the version free of trackers to show up at Simscave or the booty.
People should just avoid Newsea entirely. As nice as their hairs look, they're disgusting and it's not fair that anyone has to pay for this crap just to share it with others. If the entire community just ignored Newsea as a whole, things would be a lot better off.
yeah, pescado(if I'm not wrong) is working on a tool to remove trackers. We won't have to wait so long to get them when it's done, but I heard he's having some problems.
Either way, I'm thankful he even considered making something like that for us.
"I might have to break down and buy this. :/ Someone is making something that removes the tracker"
While I guess it's your money to waste, I'm not sure I follow your logic. Once the tool is finished, all of the donation hairs will be available for free.
the logic is that they like the hair so much that they are willing to pay to have the hair now instead of waiting till later for the tracker removal program to be finished.
Personally I'm with you. I'd rather wait and get it for free than pay $3.00 for it
Giving Newsea money only encourages them to stick with what works. You don't like the security measures Newsea uses on their pay files, yet you'll happily give them the means to keep it up?
If you're that desperate to give away money, there are plenty of charities that could use it.
The top the sim is wearing is actually a dress from lorindia.
I actually kinda like this hair... I may hate them, but I have to admit, Newsea does have talent, at least more talent then creators like peggy or most at TSR.
What's the big deal about "getting caught"? Do you honestly think NewSea is going to spend the money on lawyers fees to bring a lawsuit against someone over a $3.00 hair?
^Well...there'd be no case, because sharing Sims files is 100% legal as per the EULA; and since NewSea was breaking the law for a long time when it comes to the TS2 EULA, it would be completely asinine for him to attempt a lawsuit.
I think the main reason people don't want to get caught is for personal safety coincerns. Paysites have been known to share the private information of pirates, including REAL names and REAL paypal info. That's not the kind of thing that everyone wants plastered all over the internet.
General service announcement: this hair and many, many others are now up for free at Sims Cave (including the prior free hair that mysteriously "disappeared"). I have not checked PMBD, but have no doubt they will be up shortly, if they are not up already.
It's pretty but it looks ridiculous on guys.
ReplyDeleteOh mah gawd DOES WANT.
ReplyDeleteKinda.
Top of the head looks a little boxy.
WTF? Why is this made for guys?
ReplyDeleteFloaty hair? Anti-gravity? Yay for space hair!
ReplyDeleteThe floating effect kinda kills it for me.

ReplyDeleteAs far as I'm concerned, Newsea is, to the Simmers world, the equivalent of a used toilet bowl that hasn't been flushed for several weeks.
ReplyDeleteI kind have to agree about the floating part.. too sad btw! I wouldn't actually pay for it just because of that.
ReplyDeleteI want it!
ReplyDeleteI don't like the floating hair. If it weren't for the anti-gravity hair, it would be nice.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if it's going to be at SC?
ReplyDelete^^ It would probably take a few months before any of their new hairs are available at Simscave

ReplyDeleteit's beautiful! I love this hair! do wantttt fff
ReplyDelete"It would probably take a few months before any of their new hairs are available at Simscave"
what happened? did newsea track down sharers?

ReplyDeleteForehead is WAY to huge!
ReplyDeleteLooks great. I can't wait to see it at the cave!

Why exactly would you pay for it?

so how come the hair he created before this one was up at the cave so soon whereas the older ones are still not up ....
ReplyDeleteT_T Another Newsea hair I'll never be able to have.
ReplyDelete^^^^ LoL at the anon above me. Honey, we are on the same boat. *sigh*

ReplyDeleteThe person who shared it either didn't care about the trackers or didn't know about it. So s/he probably got caught. |:
Anyways, I like the hair. It looks like a gust of wind is blowing their hair around. It seems like it'd be great for photos and such.
This hair is so pretty! Wish I could have it!
ReplyDeleteabout the floaty thingy, my hair looks like this ALL the time; it's very thin and staticy so it flies everywhere!
ReplyDeletethere are not words bad enough for newsea's policies. they are fucking disgusting and need to be blackmailed.

lovely on female sims!
ReplyDeleteOMG this looks gorgeous. Can't wait to get it at the site that must not be named. Or the other unmentionable one.
ReplyDeleteEwwwsea, no thanx
