The eyes look quite nice. I've been looking for some replacement eyes for my sims since the current replacements don't match all of my new non-replacement skin tones so well. I might give them a try- I'll come back to them later.
As for pretty or manly guys... I myself could like either. It depends on other aspects of the guy's appearance as to what look might suit. A few guys can pull either off anyway. *shrugs*
It's interesting to see how tastes differ although unlike some people I don't fancy any of my sims. xP
But I love this blog. It's got such interesting, sometimes quirky or occasionally plain scary comments posted.
This kind of eye has been created and recreated a million times. I don't see what discerns it from others in it's class... besides the fact that the pupils are off-center or nonexistent, I can't tell, and it's really freaking me out.
"Why do people call it a homophobe? I'm not afraid of gays, I just don't want their lifestyle being shoved in my face."
*siiiiiigh* There are so many things wrong with that statement I don't even know where to begin.
Oh, I know: who was shoving *anything* in your face here? A creator using a somewhat feminine male model is "shoving" the homosexual lifestyle in your face? Makes perfect sense.
Especially since, as someone else mentioned, there are masculine gay men, too. Not all gay guys are "pretty boys" and not all pretty boys are gay.
You may have been making a more general statement. In that case, sorry, my above point does not stand. I still think it's a very intolerant sort of thing to say, but hey. Whatever.
Those that jumped on the statement about not wanting it shoved down the posters throat need to read it in a non defensive position. That is a general statement not referring to the pretty boy sim used by the creator. They were simply stating they are not homophobic but don't appreciate over zealous individuals that want to school the world on their sexual orientation. How anyone thought that was directed at the creator is beyond me. I guess I could be looking at things too far to the other end of the spectrum. If that is the case please ignore the above statement.
The eyes are not really what I normally use or prefer. I like eyes that look realistic for the most part. These have some use for making more cartoon like sims. I may try them if they are contacts but not if they are default. I love my default replacements and won't trade them.
^Maybe they thought it was directed at the creator or the creation because this is *a comment thread about the creation.* I don't think it was that big of a jump.
I agree, Anon a few posts up! Especially when those overzealous individuals decide to pass laws dictating that marriage is only for straight people, or that gay people can't adopt. Always pushing their lifestyle, those overzealous individuals.

ReplyDeleteI see a few homophobes up there too.

ReplyDelete"Hi! Love the hair on the first sim, do you now where can I find it?"
ReplyDeleteIt´s Newsea´s hair "Maple". The flower accessory is also by Newsea. :)
both sims are gorgeous.
ReplyDeletebeautiful eyes.
What is so wrong with pretty boys? Jaejoong and Taemin are adorable...
ReplyDeleteDrrr I like the eyes anyhow. The female models eyes are a bit too far apart, makes her look brain dead.

These look the same as everything else Lemon Leaf provides.

ReplyDeleteRaonjena
ReplyDeleteforget all that pretty boy manly man stuff, its all about being yourself... my style is all music, mixed with a lil hip hop/punk/r&b/alternative
ReplyDeleteOn a completely different note . . . anyone know where I can download that cute flower hair accessory?
ReplyDeleteP.S. The eyes are cute, but they kinda remind me of marbles.

Just like I don't want your thoughts on other people's love lives shoved into my face on a sim site. It's funny how that works.
On a more on topic note, I do love these eyes, though they are admittedly unrealistic. Cartoony sims FTW. :)
Honestly, I like manly men. Considering I actually AM a "pretty boy."
ReplyDeleteSorry to tell you girls. Anybody who matters likes pretty boys. That's why the most famous modern men are pretty.

love it, Lemonleaf's stuff is always gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhy do people call it a heterophobe? I'm not afraid of straight people, I just don't want their lifestyle being shoved in my face.
ReplyDelete@two anons above
ReplyDeletei agree with you. i find the statement intolerant and insensible too.
Like the eyes and hope they ain't game laggers!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how, ever so slowly, sims from the Sims 3 are morphing into Sims 2 sims.
ReplyDelete"Why do people call it a homophobe? I'm not afraid of gays, I just don't want their lifestyle being shoved in my face."
ReplyDeleteHow is a picture of a prettyboy looking male sim "shoving" gay lifestyle in your face o_O hurrdurrrer
ANYWAYS, the eyes aren't really my style. They're very pretty and..shiny, but too cartoony for me.

ReplyDeleteYou, sir or madam, win the internet.

ReplyDeleteLemonleaf should stop making eyes, they are horrible.
ReplyDelete:X yuck
