So far, I've had absolutely no luck getting any of Kittehbomb's hairs to work in my game. They either come out overly shiny and shadowy (not texture. It's like a special effects on the hair), or completely blocky and not looking like hair at all, but something buggy. Both .package files and .sims3pack files do this >_< I don't have this problem with any other hair at all. And I've seen a few anons with the same problem. It's not a problem with my graphics card, nor is it a shitty machine. Does any of the hair converter peoples know what could be the problem? If you look at the mesh, that is. No, high poly wouldn't be the problem. I've tried out several super crazy high poly hairs and they worked with absolutely no problems.
Again, it's only these hairs by Kittehbomb. And yes, the original meshes worked just fine (at least that first one that was done). And it bums me out because some of the retextures (like this one and the sakura one) are gorgeous and I want them in my game ;_; Just trying to figure out what exactly is causing problems for myself and several others :)
I wish she would fucking stop with the "neon'd"
ReplyDeleteNo, she shouldn't. Some hairs I have been waiting to be neon'd, and some really need it, like this one.
