It blows my mind that a mod will put up something and it gets Featured before it's even posted, but stuff like this just gets ignored.
This guy made a completely original mesh. He made it with simlish text. It makes sense in game context thanks to ambitions. The tools he used in the back of the car are FROM THE GAME (that's an amazing detail), the damn thing has 8 lights on the front when some people have struggled to manage anything other than two in their default position, and he gets nothing.
Meanwhile, Leeseter uploads a mini cooper using someone ELSES mesh, with all sorts of issues (patterns have a seam that doesnt line up and she made no attempt to fix it, saying it's "close enough", the lights break away from the car sometimes, sim sits too low, driving animation isn't lined up) , and it is featured before it's even posted.
Preferential treatment runs rampant at MTS and it shows with amazing creations like this. I'm sure nobody has forgotten Daluved's dress that ignored all quality guidelines and would have been rejected in seconds had a non-mod posted it.
This is an amazing upload, one of the best quality and most effort since the game came out. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves, to encourage this and other creators to try their hands at new things.
Shivar said... A lot of great stuff. And every word you posted?
I could not agree with you more. This is the best Sims 3 download I have seen since cc was made possible. Absolutely amazing work. I too hope the creator gets the recognition he deserves. Which begins on Blogs such as this so thank you MS3B for featuring it here.

Mkay...
Simply incredible work.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the black square put behind all the logos annoys a bit and I'm confused as to why he didn't just simply make it the original ghost logo.
Small gripes aside, this is still some of the best original mesh work I've seen for this game.
Loved the movie, love the ghost busting in Ambitions...love the car!
