Oh. Wow. I'm so taking this, tweaking it some, and starting my new legacy. The only real tweaking I'll probably do is add more lots, and more, closer skyscrapers. Maybe a little less trees. Just a little.
"Have we figured out how to open saved worlds in CAW yet?"
your late. we figured that out months ago.
here are the steps:
1. Open CAW. Make a new world, large 300 flat map. Save it and close CAW.
2. Open S3PE. Open the .world file that you want to edit (in this case, France, from Program Files\The Sims 3 World Adventures\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds\France.world ) - select all the resources and export as files, to an empty folder.
3. Close the premade .world file, and open the .world file made in CAW in step 1.
4. Import all the resources exported in step 2. Replace duplicates, use resource names, and compress are ticked. Save.

ReplyDeleteI hope someone creates a city similar to that of tokyo, I would scream!

I wish it wasn't only available at the Sims 3 site. Oh well, hopefully someone will have a nice city made soon.
ReplyDeleteI gotta agree, the mountains look stupid.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Shivar; It's not a bad world, but these "mountains" COMPLETELY ruin it.
ReplyDeleteThey look like awkwardly-shaped landfills everywhere. Hardly what I want half of my world to look like.
^ Awkwardly-shaped landfills everywhere... that's actually a pretty decent description of what it looks like! lol
ReplyDelete"I'll wait until coastalboy finishes his Greater Los Aniegos world which kicks this craps ass 10 time over"
ReplyDeletelink please
Yeah, very STEEP landfills at that. Covered up toxic sludge isn't pretty, no matter what.
ReplyDeleteLos Aniegos found here

and Coasterboi is doing a good job with this so far
Wow, that Coasterboi world looks amazing.
ReplyDeletewe figured that out months ago.
ReplyDeleteOh, badass.
^no, you are just slow.
ReplyDeleteAnd that Coasterboi world looks great, the only thing I don't like is that HILLWOOD mountain. It looks pretty weird when you see it from map view.
^^lol even I knew about that and I don't edit worlds. Sorry claeric, but I have to agree, you are late.
ReplyDeleteI do not care.
ReplyDeleteWho cares if he's late, the more people that know, the better.
ReplyDelete@COYADRE YOU ARE CUTE. I DID NOT KNOW YOU WERE AFRICAN AMERICAN ;)
ReplyDeleteI think the coastline and water levels need more attention. Overall, great idea, but lacks detail.
