  1. Great concept and design. Poor shading :/ Like it otherwise though :)

  2. Yeah..the shadowing is off, isn't it? I hadn't really noticed in game, but I did enhance the contrast on these photos..which probably didn't help XD. I don't know why this happens because it looks fine in Maya and in TS2..but when I export it as a wso from Milkshape it develops those shadows. *shakes fist at them*

  3. No shadow on the floor either?

  4. @Christina There's a problem with the smoothing groups in milkshape. They are not assigned corectly. Try playing with that before you export as wso. And if you have a box like you have in your project you shouldn't assign any smoothing group. That's the cause of the weird shadows. If you want to fix that, select the box in milkshape and go to vertex->unweld. That should work:)

  5. @Christina I make all my meshes using Maya, so I know where you have gone wrong. I will email/PM you.

  6. Thanks everybody :) Sailfin, wrote you back :)
And anon, yes there is a proper floor shadow..I just have my settings on low for when I'm doing pics so they don't show up.

  7. Unwelding makes the game, and your computer, work harder as it has to render twice/three times the amount of vertices. While you can get the same effect by just manually assigning shading groups as well.
:p idc as something this low can be fine by unwelding, but on more heavy objects it's wise to not do that ;)

  8. I just really enjoyed reading this. Veteran creators helping another creator to improve, both sides calm and respectful - thank you all for showing how grownups behave.
