Hm... a few inferior rip-offs of CC hair and a casino set that has nothing to do with actually gambling or playing card games.

PASS.

Things we don't need, once again

Sure, it's all over-priced worthless crap. But at least they still bother to use simlish on their items... lol.

the las vegas set would be so unbelievably tacky anywhere outside of a casino. maybe if they brought back poker tables...then it could be useful. the boho looks like ugly dirty hippie wear to me. and the free shit, is just that SHIT!

Anonymous said...

^^ It isn't like the game itself is a necessity, is it? So why expect the added content to be needed?

awwboo said...

I see one dress I like and the rest... not so much.

Lol@ free halloween stuff.
The Boho vintage set looks more like hippie indian clothes to me. I'll probably won't get anything this time.

I am disappoint.

The casino set would be so much better if they had included a slot machine and a poker table. Without them, it just seems silly. Otherwise it would have been cool to be able to build casinos in the game.

I loveee lovee lovee the Hippie clothes!!!!!! Everything else.. is le shit.

Cali said...

love the clothes, and quite like the other things. A Las Vegas-themed disco club would be nice.

Anonymous said...

Yikes... whenever I thought the store items couldn't get any more sub-par, EA succeeds yet again. :O

I like the hippie clothes, but they can keep the hair. Ugh!

Agreeing with everyone else, why have casino furniture and there is no casino objects with GAMEPLAY! Not even a LN enabled bar. Forget that base game styled bar.

Hollywood furniture is meh.

Free stuff is free, guess I will find somewhere to put that stuff in. I guess.

I actually like most of the Bohemian clothing, and the bun hair is cute.

'Hollywood Regency' seems like a really odd name for an art deco set though.

What kind of vegas crap is this! I thought when the site did that poll some months ago and I voted for something related to vegas and casinos they would put in the poker table. Or something with new gameplay, not a bedazzled Foosball table.

Love the outfits! :D

the clothing is cute, but im not paying for it. The hair is crap, as usual, I love the teddy bear skeleton!! And the poker set is pointless :(

YAY Free things! It's been forever since we got some free things!

Alright so all the free things are crap. Maybe the mirror might have a use at some point. But yay free!

I love the Halloween freebies, everything else is kind of bleh.

Anonymous said...

Garbage... just about all of it.

And seeing as most of the hairs are poor imitations of recent CC hair, it made me 'lol'.

Anonymous said...

i usually only dl the EA fashion and hair stuff for guys since there a relative shortage of these kind of things in the cc community..so giving this a miss.

um.. ur gross? foo. like calm yo temp...

No heart shaped hot tubs? F$#@!

Sherrice Lewis said...

^ lol it is disappointing that there's no heart shaped hot tub, now that you mention it.

I love the clothing ^_^ 1 or 2 of the hairs look aight, And the skull teddy is too cute (plus, free) :3

But EA really needs to work on their furniture sets. :/

ShortyBoo said...

Yeah, the heart shaped hot tub would have gone nicely with the Vegas themed set. With the vibrating heart bed we already have, we'd have all we needed to re-create a cheesy Vegas hotel room.

The clothes look good and the Regency fireplace is eyecatching. The rest...more craptacular than usual.

I love every itty bitty thing here! !<3

Ok...take that back...the Vegas stuff looks a little cheesy... :(

The only reason I'm not $h!tt!ng on the Vegas set is for the SOLE explanation that I am in love with Alice in Wonderland. :P If not for the fact that she got lot in a literal deck of cards once, I would hate this ridiculously garrish set--where the eff in Vegas did EA's team GO for this inspiration!? Lmao :P As for the bohemian clothes, I think it's a good idea...that we've seen time & time again from MUC better CC creators out there. *rolls eyes* WHY can't EA make more stuff for men!? >_< The Hollywood thing is bleh, and I'm not even gonna MENTION that ugly Halloween set. It BETTER be Free--not even EA has the b@ll$ to charge for someting that crappy. :P

elisef said...

Sorry for the typos--I meant MUCH better. :D

I LOVE the hippy clothes! oh gah sooooo tempted to pay full price, but how much have I spent on this game already??? After the simpoints went on half-price sale, I bought -- wait for it -- FIFTEEN store sets.

I replaced all my pirate stuff. I am a reformed pirate. lol And all because half-price is reasonable for objects *almost* guaranteed not to ever bork my game.

Anonymous said...

^I say "almost" never bork my game because there was that incident with the tissue box... but mostly I don't have to worry about EA objects needing to be updated with every ep, or general borkage. Can't say that in regards to user-made items.

Anonymous said...

I happily pirate everything from that criminally over-priced TS3 store.

Although... not of this rubbish is even worth getting for free. :/

Anonymous said...

^ *none of this rubbish is even worth getting for free. :)

and I agree completely.

WOW a free set

Hmmmmmmmm

Anonymous said...

wow, none of the content has been aar' worthy as of lately.

B said...

I might get hated for this but I got the bun up do hair and was impressed with the texture, there was really a texture there. Not flat, not poorly done. I like that one.

I also got the one with the accessory glasses, but haven't tried yet. I will later when I get home.

Anonymous said...

S'ok, B. I'm still going to pass on all this over-priced rubbish. :/

Anonymous said...

This is like the whackest set Ea made. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Anonymous said...

Hmmm, will probably continue to pirate stuff, but I really don't want to do that. I'd rather pay for it, and reward EA for making something I'd use, but there's no way I can afford their regular prices. And grabbing sets by one piece at a time (and hoping I'd eventually catch the next piece in the set on sale) doesn't appeal to me.

In case EA is unaware of it, the economy is tanking and a significant percentage of the population is either unemployed or seriously under-employed. There's literally almost noting I can afford to do for entertainment and my job/health prospects will most likely never improve. I feel guilty for pirating, but geeze what else am I supposed to do?

TEDDY BWEAR! <3

awwboo said...

B, is it just me or have I noticed EA is getting a bit better with their hair textures as of lately?

Dig the Fireplace a lot - Never enough Art Deco!

Most of the clothing is cute (and looks good in-game), but the hair is completely awful. The only one that might be passable is the bun with the bangs. But since I hate that style of bangs, pass on that as well.
