I love this idea, and I think it looks great as dirty hands, but... umm... when I see it recolored red to looks like blood, it makes me think that he's just finished fingering a girl on her period, LOL.
Anon #2, thank you Mr./Mrs. didactic, Puritannical person from the internet!
I ask you, how else would he get "blood" on his fingers that extends only up to the base of of his knuckles? Trying to get the last bit of catsup from the jar?
If you were speaking to me, I'd have thought by the tone of the post that people would be able to tell I was playing around. I pointed out that people would probably be over-sensitive about it, and I guess I was right. Why would I call people immature for making a fingering joke and then IMMEDIATELY make a fingering joke of my own if I weren't kidding? ;)
Please. Twelves talk about Miley Cyrus and Zac Efron and use netspeak. Adults talk about sexual acts and menstrual cycles and how they can sometimes happen concurrently to great hilarity and embarrassment.
(And yeah, katana, it was directed at you. Sorry. I needed an emoticon to figure it out.)
I agree that there's nothing wrong with making a joke about menstruation (it's part of the real world after all, and if you're going to be all "ewww" about it then you need to grow up), but to me, it wasn't the comment itself that seemed immature, but the way it was said.
"it makes me think that he's just finished fingering a girl on her period, LOL."
I know it's just a "lol" but that's the very netspeak you mentioned, anon above, and it made the comment sound like it was made by a middleschooler as she giggled behind her hand at "ew icky period blood lol." It wasn't the comment that seemed like a 12, but the delivery.
Oh how I love when people think they're all this and know all this. I'm 12 and I do not talk about Miley Cyrus or Zac efron, and oh my, would you believe it? I don't use netspeak either.

ReplyDeleteWhat a revolting thing to say, Anon above. I hope to god you are not any older than about 14. If you are, the future of this world is doomed.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, this looks great. How creative.
I'm not 14, but laughed out loud at the first anon's comment. I'm also a woman. It's funny because it's true!
ReplyDeleteGreat, now thats what I think of it....

ReplyDeleteNo, it's funny because you're immature.
"extends only up to the base of of his knuckles"
Clearly, you do not know how to finger properly.
All in good fun, my overly sensitive dahlings.
I wish the dirt is over the arm and legs too...my sims need to be more dirty looking..
ReplyDeleteOoooh, condescension--how cute!
ReplyDelete"Ooooh, condescension--how cute!"
ReplyDeleteHey, when you act like a 12 year old, people are gonna treat you like a twelve year old.
"Ooooh, condescension--how cute!"
