"hey, could someone tell me is there any way to get unbaned from gos, because i got banned."
No. You can still download from GOS, you just can't post. That rule is covered in the FAQ, which you should always read before posting at any new site.
I'm so glad! The Sims Resource tried to bully them into closing. For people who don't know what happened, TSR contacted the company that hosts the Garden of Shadows forum and claimed Garden of Shadows was posting illegal copyrighted material on their web site. It was all bullshit, because TSR was claiming THEY owned the copyright to all the fan-made Sims 3 custom content, and of course they don't. TSR does NOT own the copyright to the Sims 3 name (obviously, because Electronic Arts owns it) and TSR cannot legally charge for any item made for Sims 3 because it is a violation of copyright laws. So, TSR is violating the copyright laws themselves by charging for Sims 3 items, yet they try to get other sites banned if anyone re-uploads anything that was every uploaded onto TSR. (Even if the original creator is the person who re-uploads it, apparently.)
I'm up for a paycontent linking bonanza. EA said that there shouldn't be pay content, and I don't care that they don't deal with TSR (the only pay content should be on the EA site, no matter that it's all crap there). I'll pay EA for the games, but TSR don't deserve anything. Good download sites ask for donations - MTS actually get offered more money than they need, so TSR are just greedy >.<
Left out the fact that GOS never hosted TSR files. They were off site and uploaded by users to places like Mediafire. GoDaddy shouldn't have taken them off at all.
The insanity that the TSR monster was able to shut-down someone's site indicates if EA wanted to, they could do the same thing to TSR, possibly if we all complained enough to EA.
