  1. It looks great, but I'll be darned if I can tell the lot size, and what cc it requires, if any. O-o

Anyone know where those dangly, sparkly lights are from? It's the only thing I want.

  3. This is very pretty.

  4. Who are the upper kitchen cabinets by? Anyone happen to know? I wanna say Vitasims, but I'm not for certain.

  5. There looks like there's two downloads one with cc and one with maybe just the store items.

  6. It looks really nice, but I don't download lots that use tons of cc.

  7. Looks incredibly KICK-ASS.

And I don't mind CC-laden houses, but the real pain here is that it seems impossible to tell WHAT it involves.

  8. ^ Ah yes, that is a big problem. I can't find that information anywhere either.

Which is a shame since this is one of the most well-made houses I've seen in awhile.

  9. While I do love this blog, I truly believe it would be DRASTICALLY helpful to include any CC needed right under the screenshots right on the blog entry itself.

This is a prime example of this dilemma.

  10. ^^ That's a pretty good idea... I don't think we need to have CC plainly listed every single time, but for quality houses like this (with the site being in a different language etc), it's a bit unfair **not** to plainly list what we need to make it work.

  11. Agreed!!

This one does have a non-CC version as already mentioned, but no doubt it doesn't look nearly as nice.

  12. It's gorgeous, but if my mouse go near the download button my computer would probably explode in rage. I see so many high poly items by vita sims that's almost insane.

Also, @anon that asked about the tiny lights, if I got it right it looks like DOT's Tiny Column Lamp Set @T$R: http://www.thesimsresource.com/downloads/993326

  13. How do I download the house?

    ReplyDelete
  14. click on the m'house link (of course) and then click the red link that says "download this house" - there are two links, looks like one is full of CC and one isn't

  15. Its a stunning house. Does anyone know what the music on the site is - title, anything? Its gorgeous and really suits the theme of the home.

  17. I tried this in my game, and apparently I already had most of the cc in the house. I could only find very few things I had to fix because of that. It's a nice house but the pictures make it look more special than it is. Anyone can easily make something like this.

  18. I don't have any CC like this. So say for example, I were to download the house....

Does that mean all the CC things in the house wouldn't show up, or would they show up and then the CC is automatically added to my game? I'm always afraid to download houses because they contain CC that I don't want in my game.

When you download houses with CC, is the CC automaitcally downloaded onto your computer and added into your game?

  19. ^If the house has cc in the sims3pack format when you install the house, it'll install in your game too. This is bad, because you can't easily delete some stuff because the installer that came with the game is borked.

But if the cc comes separated (as it happens on this particular house) you have to put the cc into your mod folder for it to show up. You can delete anything at any time.

If you download the house without cc, the game will automatically put the items you have, like the beds, chairs, ect in place of the cc stuff you don't have.

  20. I have a question on this issue. How are you able to extract pieces of custom content you want from a lot?

I downloaded a house with a ton of custom content and I used CUSTARD to uncheck everything but one piece. However, when I saved it, it did not work because it still listed it as "lot" instead of an object. So I double clicked the original house file (with all the custom content packaged with it) and installed it. All the custom content items showed up in the Installed folder. I uninstalled every item except the CC object I wanted but when I went to the Downloads folder, the only item that showed up was the lot instead of the individual piece of custom content.

So basically, why don't custom content items show up as their own individual .sims3pack files in your Downloads folder instead of being only attached to a lot?

  21. Yanno, we keep asking the owner of this blog to do more and more stuff for us, and pretty soon he's gonna get sick of it. This blog is already a ton of work every day and frankly if he quits I will be quite devastated.

But, point taken about the lack of info regarding CC. And I really want the kitchen corner upper cabinets but that's it. Too many times has a downloaded lot caused major problems for my game and sad to say the risk of a borked game is not worth it anymore for me.

  22. ^I would download a lot from a builder who didn't use any cc, though. Much less likely to cause game problems.

I agree. Also, it's more than a bit outrageous to expect MS3B to provide a list of custom content for houses under the screenshots. There's no way he could know unless he downloaded the house, and it's just ridiculous to expect him to download houses with crazy loads of custom content just to provide you with a list. There is no way possible that he has time to download and test everything, and I'd never expect him to do so.

The only blog owner responsible for listing the custom content is the creator. Period.

I downloaded a house yesterday that had probably around 40 pieces or more of custom content in it. Do you really expect Joe to list stuff like that? Come on.

  24. This looks great but finding all that CC seems like a pain in the butt.

  25. Umm..Does anyone even realize there IS a Button or Link where it Says and I quote *【Download this house used by the custom items】*
So,,erm. Just putting this out there. but does That Not mean it INCLUDES the CC? I dunno. well. I decided to DL it..and Wouldn't you know it! it Does..So anyone whose been hesitant or anxious to Find the CC listed/ used etc. Not to worry. EVERYTHING used is there. as far as I can see anyways ;)

Yes it's in Chinese (Simplified Han.. which I do understand a bit of) however. if you have google (Your Best Friend!)(I use Chrome.long story short But I.E is PURE EVILE!!) it Auto-translates and makes for an easy Deduction!

  27. *NB* Also from what I gather a lot of The CC was Made by He/She the OC (original Creator) of this Lot.
So I think that solves that.. however Nothing about What the items are.

It appears only , that the OC uses vague references to some sites in the *comment section* I gather that these are "add-ons" simply for Extra effect!.so really not needed unless you want to Vamp up the lot some more ;)

  29. The lot size is 30 x 30 and requires WA, Ambitions, Late Night, and High End Stuff. Some of the custom content appears to be installed with the lot, but for the rest of it you'll need to download the other file which is in the 吸血鬼的房子自定义.rar file.
