I think it may look a little greasy because of the curls/waves, not the texture itself. I freaking love this hair, Nubie. Normally I hate curly/wavy hair because it gets the jagged parts, or it's just crinkly looking.
This looks amazing!! After seeing this for The Sims 2 I wanted it so bad for The Sims 3!I read that "the mesh isn't suitable for The Sims 3 and thought "Oh no!"
Anyway, there's another new Nouk hair I've been eyeing for The Sims 3,it's the ladies' Frohawk,is there any way that can be converted too?
this hair is absolutely beautiful. I love the texture, the part, I love the it all. I don't think it looks greasy at all. I think it looks shiny, and maybe it looks like there is hair gel in the hair, but then again IRL a girl with hair like this would more than likely have gel in her hair to keep it from frizzing out. I have hair like this and that is what I have to do. SO I think that makes this hair look more real. TY TY TY Nubie. I never thought we'd see a curly hair for TS3 look this real. <3
I really love this hair for its uniqueness in Sims 3. We have nothing like this now. And I think the conversion actually turned out really well, better than anticipated.
It looks good, great Conversion attempt if I have ONE Problem, is that it looks Almost like it's TS2 Counterpart Which...isn't bad but...You expect a bit more...Other than that GLOWINGLY POSITIVE!!!
This is great, Im gonna try it out. It's a nice change from the same old same old long wispy hair. This is real life hair here! Anubis is awesome and most of my sims is wearing his(her?) hair nowadays!
aww i wish there was a version with his old version of highlights but i suppose its difficult with curls at leadst he's till doing the old version for other hairs I sppose...
This is STUNNING. Thanks Anubis!
ReplyDeleteWow! Thanks Anubis...this is beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteOooo I like it! :D
ReplyDeleteYes yes YES! It looks great IMO. Maybe a little greasy, but I'll just use dark colours.

ReplyDeleteThanks! :D
lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhy does every single custom hair I download float above my sims back and breasts?
ReplyDelete^^How about a nice cup of stfu.
ReplyDeleteI don't really like the hair, the parting looks weird. The conversion is nicely done, but not my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteThanks, it's lovely
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
ReplyDeleteI thought we would never see this converted! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for a beautiful hair, Anubis!

ReplyDeleteo: Nookie lied, it looks lovely in TS3. I love it Anubis. :3
ReplyDeleteI wonder? What is the use of counting poly counts. How can you check? Sorry --it's off topic but I really would like to know.
ReplyDeleteAnd the hair looks great. I love that he is converting more and more.
^ The higher the polycount, the more risk your game will crash.
ReplyDeleteThis hair has 2838 polys, wich is even lower than some EA hairs. Not risky at all :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks really nice. Thank you for converting this for us.

ReplyDeleteWow, finally a hair that fits quite well with ingame stuff. Thanks Nubie ;)
ReplyDeleteSomeone please convert this hair?

ReplyDeleteI still don't know if I like this but the poly count is low so I'll check it out in game.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Thanks for converting Nubie!
ReplyDeleteContent like this is 1000% needed for The Sims 3,THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteI like that you converted this hair but can you give it pooklet textures? ty
ReplyDeleteThank you, Anubis! I too wanted this after seeing it for TS2. :D Beautiful conversion!
ReplyDeleteI never like any style that's meant to be curly or wavy. Something just doesn't translate for me. They always look greasy and limp.
ReplyDeleteI always love the work Anubis does and I'm sure this one is as well made as the rest, just not my cup of tea.
"I like that you converted this hair but can you give it pooklet textures? ty"
ReplyDeletePooklet textures do NOT always look good on every hair, particularly ones like these. That's probably why he didn't do them...
OMG YES YES YES YES YES!
ReplyDelete2838 polygons?
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, what did Nouk made so they look that nice with so few polygons!
Gorgeous mesh Nouk~
Gorgeous conversion Anubis~
Thanks~ XD
