This sure looks like a typical man-home. All modern and clean (clean as in simple). I really like it, though, I need flowers and colors to stay in one house for more than ONE generation.
I don't see how it's masculine. Just modern, not even really minimalist. Unless the modernist style is considered masculine, which I am not willing to concede.

True it needs more color (for life of course.) I wish I had his graphics btw.
