You can tell how little new content SHT has by how much of that video showed other EPs and this 'new Katy Perry' edition, which has obviously quickly been thrown together after all the negative feedback they would have received for SHT.
What's with all the EP's having so many different editions now?? Like I'm going to buy all 3! I'm more likely to buy 0 in this case.

Still, judging from the first 1:30 or so, EP doesn't look *too* bad to me (rubbish "social features" aside). But then I'm reminded how EA doesn't make legitimate trailers anymore. Massive stages with synchronized dancers and a tripped-out wonderland-world are NOT IN THE GAME. Makes me doubt how much other content in this video isn't really in the game at all.
The rule of thumb here is to *never* trust EA-made trailers. You'll have no clue what's really in their EP's until the game comes out.

Yeah, I was pretty sure there wouldn't be giant scenes of synchronized dancing too, among other things. It's as if EA 'wants' their consumers to consistently be disappointed every time they buy an EP, after you find out most of their trailers are nothing more than mere theatrics and lies.
Way to go EA... I'm sure nobody's catching on!

Lol this still didn't impress me. To me I think Showtime is still the biggest rip-off ever. No way am I paying 40 plus bucks for a few new careers that should've been in Late Night or Ambitions and social features. So I'll pass.
This may be the worst trailer for an EP I've ever seen.
Mainly because it features so little of what is ACTUALLY IN THE EP... albeit there isn't a lot of content to begin with. But an official Sims trailer with music being sung in English?? Really? I guess it's symbolic of EA not putting effort into anything they churn out anymore. Not to mention how screwed up the "story" is in this trailer... seriously WTF?! lol

Gross, who whats some lolly-pop stage props and skimpy outfits which would probably look ridiculous on every sim except her. And all for 10-15 dollars more ;/

I don't think there's more to it, just a bunch of new proffesions that aren't as awesome as they show in the trailer, and new items like that pool table or the stuff to build the stages.

Else, they have used pretty much everything from other EP's, wich makes this kind of less promising. And I don't like the idea of real people in the sims, maybe if they were more like funny parodies, that would totally fit the game :)

Apparently the world shown isn't even Starlight Shores (hate that name for a town, BTW). Kind of like those promo pics from WA with the really nice background scenes of Egypt that didn't really exist in the real game.
To bad Katey does not sound that good in real life. Listening to her sing live is painful. It takes a vocoder and other studio tricks to make her sound good.
And what's with singing in English?
I guess this means that EA will always be modern.... A moment of silence for simmers who like antiques T_T

Okay so are they saying that sims can get illnesses in this EP? Because it may be worth buying if thats the case, other than than, I hate the steam punkish clothes, and if the new world looks like fruits and ice creams I'm so done!!!
