I happen to like the texture too. I almost never download Newsea retextures because I like the originals so much.
And anon @ 3:45: not everyone who comments in defense of a creator IS the creator =_= is it so difficult to accept that some of us actually do like the original textures better?
Well yeah, I agree NewSea DOES have pretty textures ONLY IF you mostly have Dark-Haired Sims, but if you like Blond/Light-Haired Sims (like me) then retextures are better, because roots are indeed dark (if you don't believe me, try in CAS to put NewSea's hair with a completely white hair colour)

It's a REPLICA of the REAL HAIR STYLE of Emma Stone who, if you can see the picture, is a (natural) blonde with brownish roots. That's why the roots are like that and if they look dark to you, then you may need to clean your screen or adjust your settings cause they obviously are not. We're not talking about Peggy here.
^ You can make the roots brown-ish, if you prefer, with a proper texture (like Nubie's for example), but you can't make light roots if the texture is messed up. You know, not every girl is a bitch with dark roots.
They really don't look all that "dark" to me, even in the platinum blonde hair. It's a few shades darker. I mean, really, we've seen A LOT worse but I think these are an improvement.
Seriously though, a lot of people on here need anger management... this is ridiculous. -.-
FFS if people want a retexture, live with it. Everybody has different tastes. I prefer pooklet textures so I always go for the retextures. If that pisses people off, tough titties.

Yup its definitely derived from the kiss jasmine hair but its cute nonetheless. It is wide though.
Not even the "subtle" use of the eyeliner can save it.
