About the content warning

I contacted Google earlier about the new content warning and it was about some of the skins on this blog.  So I am supposed to remove any posts/pictures showing the entire body.  I guess even if they're blurred or pixelated.  I don't know about underwear but that's probably next and maybe even swimwear will be offensive not too long from now.  I realize that some posts only have pictures that show the bodies so I had to revert them to drafts for now.  I will republish them and replace the pictures with the picture below after I finish removing all of the offensive Sim body pictures.

Update - all done :)

  2. What a shame, and a bit surprising too how long it took them to make a notice about it.
You have had a lot of patience, all of the work you put into this blog for the past 5 years and I know you are much appreciated, even if we don't say it often enough.

    1. I wouldn't do it if I didn't think there were people who appreciated it. Thanks, Spacerox. :)

  4. It looks like someone reported your page to google, like you can on Facebook, Instagram, etc. Someone is probably trying to be a dick.

  6. Thank you for what you do and I'm sorry some folks didn't have enough to have a huff about.

  7. Ridiculous. Sims are pixels, it's not even skin!
Whatever, some Simmers really have the mentality of a 3 years old.
Keep up the great work. :)

  8. Thank goodness Google is here to protect us from simulated skin. Who knows where we'd be without their moral guidance and purity. But seriously, what's with the infantile hangup about non-porn birthday suits?

  9. There are children who visit this blog, don't forget that. It's for the sake of children that things have to change a little. Is it really so much of a big deal to make this blog more kid-friendly? Is that really asking too much?

    1. I'm glad you think we don't spend enough time on this blog.

    2. Yes, you are asking too much. Children under thirteen do not belong on the internet. Children older than thirteen do not belong on the internet without supervision. Also, middle school health books have more explicit renderings of the human body than these sims previews. I don't believe for a moment that we need invasive micromanagement by the website in order to make it more "kid friendly". As for Joe Sims, keep up the fantastic work here.
