ReplyDeleteAnubis has ninja fast retexture skills duh! But really it doesn't take a whole lot of time to retexture something, if you saw this posted quickly and got started right away you could probably have it uploaded in an hour, hour 1/2. And I think I'm rather slow so nubie probably does it quicker

ReplyDeleteRetextures takes about 30 mins or less to me. I have Pooklet's and my control's textures templates, and there's not a real need for testing (unlike conversions do) because as I use always the same texture, I know exactly how it looks while game-playing. The quality of the mesh it's not up to me though.

btw (I posted above), I really like the look of this hair. It looks very natural.

ReplyDeletePeople, don't forget that MS3B often doesn't post big updates until the afternoon. So when he got ready to post the Peggy update, he also posted Anubis's too since it was already ready.

ReplyDeleteThat's actually happened to me a few times and I think it's a blogger glitch. There were times I posted comments three times in a row and they immediately disappeared after posting. I was able to get the comment posted by changing the formatting and breaking parts of it up into two separate responses...and that's the only way it stuck. It's weird.

ReplyDelete@Rob: No XD It tooks much more time for me taking the pics than doing the retexture. Seeing the time in the files I have, it took me 10 mins to retexture/test, and at least I spent 1 hour taking/preparing the pics. And counting the time I take uploading, it takes like one and a half hours to retexture/upload a hair from the moment I download the original :3

Ah, okay. I was just complaining about Candy Lover and her tactic of leaving a phony generic comment then adding a quick bit of self-promotion, but since everyone else is doing the same thing it's no great loss :)
